My Site login works just fine here. But for some reason, when I put my same log in info into the downloader, it will not take it.

Same Email, same password. but the Downloader rejects it. please help.

I have version 9.0. 1376

I can't help with the downloader problem, but have you tried using plain ol' browser download?

I don't know how. On the download page there are three download links. and the file extension is a ".bin", whatever that is.

Download using Browser (1 of 3) (2 of 3) and (3 of 3). And what's a .bin?

Why would there be 3 download links for one game?

You get three files because you must be downloading a biiiig game. There are somewhere instructions on how to combine them into one but I'm not sure where those instructions are found. Surely someone will come along and tell you how to deal with those...

Thank you very much! I am so far incredibly pleased with GOG.

And it is a large file. I am getting Gothic 3.

I'm glad to be here :)

I could not believe you all have Dungeon Keeper 2. that is also a fun game.

I read Gothic 3 is open-ended like Skyrim. That whole "open and free" environment is very enjoyable. To be able to choose factions and your own path in a game.

It may be too late if you got your downloads working, but there was a problem with the GOG Downloader and certain "special symbols" in your password. I had the exact same problem about the time The Witcher came out and they changed the downloader. I could login to GOG, but the Downloader wouldn't recognize my login.

Turns out... I had a "special character" in my password (I think it was "="). Just for fun, temporarily change your password to just numbers or alpha characters and see if that works for you.

My password is only in alphanumeric characters. I don't know why it's not working when my password and everything is fine.

A common problem involves entering an email address that's not entirely lower-case. Is that possibly it?

It dosn't accept mine either! my email is in lowe-case and my password dosn't use any special symbol I even changed it to try and it still dosnt let me log in...

Does the address contain a + sign? That have been a problem, but it may be fixed now (or will with the next release).

my address is max.dorval so no it dosnt countain any special stuff other than the dot...

Let's not do necro threading - this topic was about an old downloader, not the current one :). Would be great if you could please add your report to this topic and include the exact Downloader version that you're having the issue with (it's in the Setting's window) as well some info on Windows version you're using
