For what its worth, it looks like you can take your time.
I'm vaguely tempted to try and run a game myself but I'm already making an RPG so I'd prefer to be a player in this

Yes but to stay true to the monkey island theme I was going for, the candles should be dipped in a dark purple or dark blue ink because he couldn't get black but figured dark would be close enough, the pentagram should be comprised of banana skins and made by trained voodoo monkeys and the sacrifice should be a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle
