If GOG was really on their game they would have released all of the Activision titles before they announced they were going to be offered.
I have to agree with the others that there's nothing to get impatient about. While Tuesday was a fairly regular release day for a while, it was never guaranteed that there would be anything released on that day. Although it does mean GOG will have to release roughly 3-4 titles every Thursday to meet their target.
The release can't be on Saturday since Lagwagon says (on their song May 16th that is in THPS2):
"Just another Saturday"
Well, we'll see if something will happen tomorrow. I'm not quite through Gabriel Knight yet, though...
it's not about being impatient, i don't know why some of you can't see past that, it's about slagging on your highly touted ACTIVISION DEAL after making a big deal out of it and not doing anything except saying "Stay tuned wink wink" once last week.
Eventually customers get tired of that song and dance and move on. You can complain about impatience all you want and tout your faux maturity but this is about dollars and cents.
Hell why do you think Steam started doing Mid-week deals? To make more money, to get more buzz. To take the spare gamer cash from the other sites that were starting to get the jump on them earlier.

Yeah, it was a bit unfortunate that there weren't any releases on tuesday. Let's hope there are two tomorrow.

Not doing anything except saying "Stay tuned"? Perhaps you missed the fact that they released two of Activision's titles, Arcanum and Gabriel Knight, then also released two retrospective articles about each of them all in the less than a week it has been since the Activision deal was actually announced. Its not a matter of us not seeing past your impatience, its simply a matter of your excessive impatience.
They released two games last week, which is normal. Nothing special there. They were great games, but this is GOG. Great games aren't _that_ rare here. The retrospectives were a nice bonus, but a bonus nonetheless, not a good replacement for new releases.
The countdown obviously meant that they wouldn't release anything last Tuesday, but that doesn't explain why they didn't release anything this Tuesday. The countdown was over, and it would be natural to assume they'd return to the regular release schedule after the announcement.
I don't see what's excessively impatient about that. Obviously I hope they'll release two games this week as well, so I'm not really complaining. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed when there were no Tuesday-release.

Didn't they say they have 20 games in the first batch, and are releasing them in 15 "batches" this month? Maybe we'll get 4 or 5 tomorrow ^_^
"Stay tuned" doesn't mean "refresh our home page every ten seconds."

Exactly. GOG has never given us a reason to think they were lying about that or that they have been slacking off, just because this Tuesday didn't happen to have a new game release. That was not the first time that has happened, you can be sure it won't be the last. We can all trust that they will do something that makes up for "missing" that day as they always have. There is certainly no reason to accuse GOG of things like "dropping the ball" here. That's just unwarranted frustration and impatience talking.

Yeap. Frustration we can't throw all our pennies at gog and Activision :P
Yikes? Did I actually just say that? O_o
I found the releases boring. Far from my kind of game... A retrospect doesn't do anything to get me any more interested, will it?
If they come on tomorrow and post "ARCANUM! ARCANUM! ARCANUM! ARCANUM! ARCANUM! ARCANUM! ARCANUM! ARCANUM!" (which is the gist of the tweets lately) on the front page, it won't make me excited either.
So... it's been a long wait for some of us. Make sense?
I think GOG has been slack as everyone lets them off to much, if you put the pressure on they will stay on their ball, otherwise fall off it.

They've pretty consistently kept to 2 releases a week for more than a year, doesn't really seem slack to me
