The title on the countdown has me sort of puzzled. It says, "Location of GOG.com's Biggest announcement ever locked on in: " It reads like they're saying that they're going to announce the location of they're biggest announcement. Announce a location of an announcement? That make sense to anyone? Also of note is the last part, "locked on in". Is that a hint or something? Actually the sentence doesn't even make sense to me. It would make more sense if it said "UN-locked in: " . As in the location of the announcement will be unlocked when the timer runs out.

thelovebat: The PSN hackers got our account info, and everyone on GoG will be forced to play the censored Australian version of The Witcher 2. ^_^

dr.zli: No, the announcement is that George Michael is gay. It will cause shock through the gog community.

Wait... George Micheal is gay? But "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" was such a butch song!

Yup, and that "I'm too sexy" song was manly too.
The big announcement could be...

They've decided that once people see the Nintendo Cafe everyone will sell all their PC's PS3's and Xbox 360's so they are gifting all current members the entire GoG catalogue and launching everything on Nintendo.
It's sad that we don't get microsoft. I was so much looking forward to finally get windows 3.11

I'm really worried this countdown that we're all waiting for is going to be that an announcement will be made at E3. Very anticlimatic. An announcement about an impending announcement.

Just lowering everyone's hope.
My Predictions ranked in terms of Realistic expectations:
EA: Ultima 1-8,Need For Speed Underground and Old Hot Pursuit
LucasArts: SCUMM. GRIME. ALL THE ADVENTURE GAMES. ALL OF THEM!
2K: Civ1/2/3 and GTAIII..
Square Enix/Eidos: Final Fantasy 7 and 8 PC. Hitman Series. Deus Ex. Thief. ANACHRONOX.
MS Game Studios: Halo 1 CE and Fable: The Lost Chapters.
Dumb luck will get everything and System Shock 1&2 to boot. :P

You mean like they did the last time they had a "big announcement" to make? Two months ago during the CDP Days online conference they did just that, announcing that they will soon be making a big announcement, which supposedly is the thing we will see today. But then again, with E3 so close, I guess anything is possible.
I was kinda thinking EA was going to buy all rights to all the games - ever made - and instead of releasing each game individually....they would hash up every level, character, items, etc. and sell them as DLC.
or GOG would be announcing "Ridge Racer" coming to PC.....

I took the following from a German news source:

- CD Projekt will discuss their experiences with The Witcher 2.
- CD Projekt will announce their next title.
- GOG.com will announce a new publisher deal. It's supposed to be one of these: Lucas Arts, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Square Enix or Take 2
- With the time of those announcements, the games from that deal are planned to be available here right away.
- GOG.com will also grant a peek at the next 25 titles planned for release on this site.

A deal with either LA or EA could potentially make some room in the top ten of the community wishlist.
A deal with Take 2 could bring us Star Crusader. I'd like that. I feel so alone.

I've been big on Feta and Gouda lately. How is Gorgonzola?
Gorgonzola is delicious. I would be behind this all the way.
Edam cheese is nice and lasts a long time. I'd love to see some E, eh?
