"The new publisher is Electronic Arts! Sadly, no System Shock, Dungeon Keeper, Alice, or Little Big Adventure, but hey, you don't get early FIFA games for 9,99$ each everyday!"

EA bought Bullfrog, right? So they have rights for Dungeon Keeper.

If we're going to go all literal here, and and read "biggest announcement yet" as a company that have a huge back catalogue of games to live on for years to come, I would say it's EA. I doubt it's LucasArts because, quite frankly, they're not known for quantity, but rather quality. And most of the quality is already easily availble, with a few exceptions. Grim Fandango could use a patch or two to get the game working flawlessly, and so could EMI. Unless they're going to be releasing every little game with the Star Wars title in it since the day of George Lucas' birth, I don't think the catalogue is that huge.
Not to say I don't want easy access to DRM free copies of every LucasArts adventure game, and then some. But for quantity and availability reasons, I kinda hope for EA. LucasArts would mostly just provide me with games I've already played several times every year since they were released. Although I would like a true proper standalone version of Monkey Island 1 and 2 (especially 1, since the version they included was probably the worst looking one to put the new SE graphics in a better light).
