They'd never announce that they're getting a new major publisher plus 8 or 15 other publishers and just list the entire list possible and included publishers and all.

Biggest announcement ever means largest publisher to date. That's probably Electronic Arts, which as of the last time I looked (quite some time ago) doesn't really do much distribution of the older IP they hold, and could make at least some money that way. Plus, EA has never that I've known been hesitant to give someone else the job of making their games work. ^_^

But to make it even better, I'm hoping for a contract rider that makes LucasArts buy Square Enix and bring all the combined games to GOG, delivered by magic jedi rainbow ponies. A guy can dream.

Will they announce the coming of several sought after games like (please let it be System Shock 2!)? Is it the end of GOG as we know it (probable not)? Then again who's to say right?

So here's my question to all you fellow GOG'ers. What do you think the announcement is going to be about?
This was just intended to start joke speculation, right? We've known all along what the announcement really will be, they've only been teasing this "big announcement" since January. GOG is adding one of the biggest sought-after publishers to their catalog this week. It's going to be either Microsoft, Lucas Arts, Electronic Arts, Square Enix or Take2 (or as some have speculated any combination of those publishers, including all of them). They told us this much as recently as two days ago.

This would be better than IG making the sequel.... Actually there the only developer i would trust making a sequel to it.
