For the past few days we've all seen it. The countdown on the front page that is slowly ticking down to zero. What kind of announcement will be made once the clock hits zero?

Will they announce the coming of several sought after games like (please let it be System Shock 2!)? Is it the end of GOG as we know it (probable not)? Then again who's to say right?

So here's my question to all you fellow GOG'ers. What do you think the announcement is going to be about?

They've been acquired by Valve.

Or more likely it is the count down to an announcement that they are going to announce something.

Maybe they bought out Gametap from that french company metaboli? Would be nice to see all those classic games going to a good home after how abused they been by Metaboli's browser based system (Instead of the beloved Gametap uploader.

Several major publishers are cancelling their contracts with GOG. Once that timer hits zero, half the catalogue is going to disappear.
