Hey all, I'm kind of new here, but I was wondering what everyone thought of a GOG.com wallpaper pack... I am pretty good with Photoshop and made myself a few for my Laptop, but if the interest is there I will make different Resolutions and upload them here for you all... Let me know.
Thanks.

What did you make for your laptop? =P
Show us some examples, maybe you'll get better, or more honest, responses.
Here is the ones that I made myself, they are 1440x900... but the one i have to upload here is smaller, and has a few Resizing Flaws..., But it will give you an idea. There is a max Filesize of 500KB per file, so i cannot upload the fullsize JPGs... Unfortunately.
All I did with the Logo was download it from the GOG website and add a Drop Shadow, however the Background is 100% original...

My eyes hurt from the diagonal lines, otherwise it's pretty fine.
The issues from the Diagonal Lines is a result of me having to resize the Pic, it is not meant to look quite like that...
How about something like this? I had to use some of my own games of course, so the selection may not be to everybody's taste.

That's not bad, But there are two problems with me creating Walls like that:
1. I have only bought two games so far... So the Shelves would be a bit bare...
and 2. I am a Minimalist, so I like the Darker, Simpler Wallpapers.
I do like that, so don't get me wrong, but as for what would fit my style, That is just too busy.
I actually just Submitted the Full-size versions of my two Walls to GOG for approval... There may be a chance that, if they like it, it will be "Official" and be distributed by them, not me!

Good stuff.
I'd like to see one with the vertical logo. I'd do it myself but I'm too godamn lazy at the moment.

Strangely enough, the vertical logo isn't included in the logo zip-file.
No, But that would be nice to have... can anyone upload it... I would really like to use it.
Edit: @chautemoc - Do you have that logo?

I didn't mean it as an example of something you should do. Just as an example GOG wallpaper for people to give their opinion on.
Ooo I should try to make a wallpaper as well. Don't make it busy though - the one with the game shelves looks good but is really not great to have as wallpaper because when you start putting icons on top, it will look very confusing (especially since GOG icons are also game boxes).

If you have Photoshop, just edit the existing logo to vertical (Edit, Transform). Only format the forum supports is jpg, which does not support transparency, so I can't upload you a working vertical logo other than a jpg with a white background.

Png has worked before, so "forum only supports jpg" is a false statement.
Also, the vertical logo is this one.
