Another minor update I'd love is to see a link to the game's own discussion forum from it's gamecard.
The new forum main page is confusing at first, but overall better than the older one. Love the new color scheme.
The gameshelf is pretty neat too, but I was hoping some sort of integration with a forum profile accessible by others. :(
The update is pretty tight. Good job, GOG!

Or even accessible to non-GOG-members.
Not sure if I like shelf feature or not. I can say right now however that I love that it is optional. I hate it when something fancy but less effecient is forced on me, and this seems to happen too often. The GameTap client being an excellent example of something that was designed with presentation in mind with usability barely being an afterthought.
Things like the shelf feature can be good and sometimes I end up preferring them and sometimes not. I simply feel it is important to still have the option to go with something simple and effecient if the user chooses and I thank GOG for respecting that.

Yeah, as Sfon has mentioned, for those who have not seen it (as it's a small link).
Go to the Shelf page, click on "Show as List" at the top of the shelf.

AND REALISTIC VIRTUAL WOOD! GOG HAS THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING! although i think it would be funny that the first time you log in after a long time there are spider webs and stuff over your collection.
Oh my god I love the virtual shelves. I can see small updates to the site, small but pretty critical ones. Thank you for the virtual shelves GOG!

Soon we'll get virtual dust brushes, silk stand and glass cabinets for our most dear games.

They still need to add a "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS" box with a really good game locked inside for those times you were unexpectedly exposed to a horrendously atrocious game. I'm thinking one of System Shocks will do. You could have a little hammer on a chain next to the box. Also, there should be a little comment box where you can say which game was the cause of the bad game emergency. What do you think, guys?

I'm sorry, SS1 does not stand the test of time for me.

Could be a game of your own choosing then. Something to clear the palette after an egregious game.

I (and I'm sure others) have already put this into the "suggestion box" (also know as the beta feedback link at the bottom of the page).

If anything, it would be System Shock. It's the only game which would deserve a special place in my shelf.

System Shock is a freeware. It'd be cool if GOG release more freeware, though.
