[url=http://www.gog.com/x11]Our holiday sale is here! You’ve been waiting for the chance to pick up all of our great classics at incredible savings, and that time is now. Virtually the entire catalog is 50% off from now until 2 January 2011. While most of you have probably clicked through and are getting games now, let’s let you know about the fine details of the promo.

Activision games are on sale until the 26th of December, so be sure to pick them up early. We’ll do our best to remind all of you via or [url=http://twitter.com/#!/GOGcom]Twitter about that, so be sure to follow us there if you aren’t for updates and reminders. Further, The Witcher 2 will be 40% off during this holiday sale, but the Witcher: Enhanced Edition is 50% off. Finally, there are a few games that are not in our holiday sale: in particular, Codemasters games and Gothic 1 are not included this year.

Our holiday sales are the best time this year for you to pick up all of the classic PC games that you have been waiting to get since you joined GOG.com; Santa also appreciates you picking up games on GOG.com, because that’s less for him to fit in his sleigh. ;)

Happy Holidays to all, and we hope all your gaming wishes come true!

5.0.1

and screenshot is attached.

But as I said - I noticed yesterday that I could post comments on my laptop without problems and at the same time I got 404 error on my main computer.

Are You using the "zoom in" view? That may cause the problem with the missing "sports" tab.

Press Ctrl+0 (the number 0 of the numpad), this will reset the zoom and you will be able to see all the tabs :)

Apparently, I did. Now it's there (and it looks much better now, all colours are there - I guess that traffic is lower now).
May I know why are you using Firefox 5? Firefox 8 is SO MUCH FASTER and lighter in memory use that I can't see any reasons of using this old "shit".

It's from end of June 2011.

In my world, it's still new (in fact, I still consider Baldur's Gate 2 and Icewind Dale 2 brand new games).

ps. lately I hate my firefox, so I just give a try to FF8.

I dropped Firefox 5 to Chrome. Then I've dropped shitty, slow Chrome to Opera. And lately I dropped Opera for FF8. And I'm amazed how FF improved. Faster, Better, Harder, Stronger ;)
I would love to see the effects the sale had on sales and downloads after it has ended. It should show an amazing peak.
(I have already bought 11 games during the sales and might add some more... Others report similar purchases...)
Yeah, I wonder how much income increase this sale will give them. I hope they'll share the results after the sale's over.
I have to pay $193.50 if i want to get rid of my wishlist .

I've read several reviews that state Chrome is faster than Firefox. Honestly I don't see it. On every computer I use, Intel/AMD, WinXP/Win7/Ubuntu, Firefox always feels faster. It seems faster to load, load pages, and switch tabs. Chrome is however noticeably faster than any version of IE that I was forced to use.
As a web developer I must say:

Firefox: development;
Chrome: personal use.

From where I see, firefox become more and more unstable as they release new versions... it crashes about 5-6 times/day at work. Too bad Chrome don't have firebug :/

Well, I saw a test where newest Chrome is even SLOWER (in loading tabs) than IE9. And it's totally true. My Chrome before it loaded up 10 tabs opened simultanously, you could go to check for food in the fridge, go back and it's still not loaded.

Firefox is better, and fastest is clearly Opera. but Opera sucks when it comes to standards compability. If some page loads up incorrectly in some browser, It WILL be Opera.
