Seems GOG's server is being hammered. got this on a few pages in the forum :D

Yeah, that also happened when they gifted Fallout, but it was worse.

Yeah, the Torchlight giveaway coupled with the entire Dungeons and Dragons series being massively discounted today, as well as Alan Wake is probably putting a big load on their servers. Time for a server upgrade methinks! :)

If I remember correctly, spring 2012 (for the northern hemisphere). It was at the end of their Spring Conference and along the announcement of newer games like Assassin's Creed being released at GOG.

Yeah, the servers are taking a hit. Much better than the last time they gave away a popular game though :)

ya know i really like their custom error messages, its a personal thing of mine, if you care enough to give a custom error rather than the bog standard (it only takes like 5 mins) it means you care and there for a decent company. well im my book anyways.

Exactly the same. It's like Operation Flashpoint and Arma. They bought the rights to Diablo and changed the title screen.
