I was just thinking to myself what if gog made a ipad app that lets you play the games you own on your ipad.
Did you go to Hogwarts?
Oh my god the hilarity is palpable.
UT2K4 on iPad...
hmm...
hmm..
No.
I dont me newer type games like UT2k4. I mean like the old adventure games and more older games that were in the 90's or so
You don't realize how weak the processor really is in an iPad, or how little ram it has either, do you?

256mb of ram, not counting flash for storage. If I'm remembering correctly.
1. Theyd practically have to remake the games one by one to fit as a mobile version.
2. Theyre for the PC, so theyre not tailored for over simplified crap.
3. Ipad blows
"Dear GOG, I bought this overpriced piece of iShit, and now I've found out that it can't do anything useful. Please help me so I can justify this ill-advised purchase."
I think it's time to post this link again.
You bought an iPad, now you want it to do something useful? You should have thought of that before you bought it.

LMAO, this statement more or less sums up every post I've seen by iPad owners.
You know what the really funny thing is? Even if they wanted to, after the recent modifications made to the Apple SDK Agreement, GOG couldn't easily provide a wrapper for the games to work on an iDevice as all code must be originally written in Objective-C, C, C++, or JavaScript as executed by the iPhone OS WebKit engine, and only code written in C, C++, and Objective-C may compile and directly link against the Documented APIs (e.g., Applications that link to Documented APIs through an intermediary translation or compatibility layer or tool are prohibited).
But that's a shit move by Apple and it's not nice to go so far offtopic.
Why the ipad is useful for me:
- E-books....I guess....then again, most college text books aren't made in E-book format.
So....I guess it isn't useful for me afterall :D
Seriously, I don't know one person that owns one or has a legitimate use for one. I've seen ONE on my campus, and the entire screen was greasy with fingerprints. No thanks.
Although, I GUESS you could install Boxer on it...maybe....
