Half the computer for twice the price?

Why stop at twice as much? The more it costs the more essential it must be!

I want an iPad but not for games. That's just disgusting.
I just thought having some old games being played on the ipad would be a good idea but speaking of ipad overall im not getting it im looking forward to the courier
I'm guessing an iPad-like device would be great for point & click adventure games and some RTS or RPG games. It won't be possible on the iPad itself because of Apple's severe restrictions on third party software, but there are lots of other devices on the way with similar or better hardware capabilities and less restrictive software.
I'd like to break an iPad.

AndrewC: But that's a shit move by Apple and it's not nice to go so far offtopic.

Really? I thought offtopic is all the rage now.

ace2020boyd: I was just thinking to myself what if gog made a ipad app that lets you play the games you own on your ipad.

Around the time when GOG announced Activision catalogue in late January, there's this screenshot...

Yeah but that's photoshopped. Or is it from one of the GOG Team?
Nice Photoshop window open with all the layers visible *wink**wink*

I thought he was one of GOG's marketing guys, but I might be wrong...
Potential of having a tablet PC: enormous
Potential of iPad: typical crappy shitty limited Apple hardware
The potential of a tablet PC is huge and I look forward to portable tablet PCs being released powerful enough to run DOSBox. But the iPad? Shame on those who reward Apple's crappy system by buying it.

There have been tablet PCs powerful enough to run DOSBox for at least 5 years now. The tablet concept isn't new people, it's been around for some time!
