We know you're busy people, but would you like to contribute to an even better GOG? How about taking 5 minutes of your time to make the GOG experience an outstanding one?

Our main goal when designing GOG.com was to create the best user experience in digital distribution ever. Many say we're doing it right, but we want to get even better, that's why we're launching a survey that will help us lead GOG in the way you'd like it to go. Taking part in it isn't required of course, but if you want to have your share in making GOG the best digital distribution service there is (or at least even better than it is right now) and maybe win a free game, devote few minutes of your time to answer couple questions we've prepared. From all users who will take part in the survey, we'll randomly choose 20 who will receive a free GOG game of their choice. Grab a pencil... er, a keyboards in your hands and answer the below questions for a better future for all of us :)

The survey ends on Thursday, October 27 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Done

"Would you like GOG.com to distribute more day 1 releases, like we did for The Witcher 2, with no copy protection, on a flat price package, and with extra goodies?"

Are people really going to say no to that question?
I think You want to do a client like Steam.

bazilisek: I was a bit conflicted about the very last question. I'm all for day one GOG-style releases, but I'd prefer having those on a sister site rather than here. So I chose No.

Vorax: My thoughts exactly.
On the other hand, I would love if I could do all my games shopping on one - DRM free -site. GOG could be the "God Of Gamers" instead of "Good Old Games".
done and done.

Though it took me more time to find than to aczually complete the survey. I had to whitelist two additional domains for JavaScript and there was no indicator of something missing on the page before that (jotforms.com and jotfor.ms). Mild annoyance using FF 7.0.1 with NoScript 2.1.4

StingingVelvet: I like where the survey is going toward the end. More recent games that are DRM free at higher prices please. DO IT.

Ralackk: Yea I hope we are not the only ones. There normally seems to be some contention about the name gog.com adopted and the fact some people only want older games.
I'm all for it as long as they are price competitive with Steam/Gamersgate (if they're the only DRMfree source I'd even be willing to throw in an extra couple of bucks) It really is time to bring in those new price points though there are some games out there worth 15 or more and some that are only worth 3...
Více sportovních a automobilových her.Thx

More sports and car games

I am with you on that one... I would love to see GOG.com and GNG.com (or something less tacky)!
Done, hope it helps :)

Regarding 1-day releases - would like to see them sometimes, but only "best of best" and really fitting somehow the GOG.com's catalogue in term of "oldschoolness" and fun. No console ports or such, please! :P
Yea.. and I would love to see support for Bitcoins!

Aeterna: No "other" in the payment question?

I'm sure plenty of people would love to use national banking systems, such as iDeal in the Netherlands. Which Imo is a pretty good system.
'old' doesn't have to mean that the game I buy is old. Old could stand for the oldschool practice to release games with lots of extras (not exclusive dlc) and without horrific DRM, as the 'new' style of game releases seems to be: no extras and install our spy-client.
A resounding "yes" to day 1 releases.
low rated
I have to admit, for the amount of data you are collecting, I find giving "only" 20 people a free game a bit stingy. This is marketing and nothing else so I would have expected a free game for everyone to be quite honest, Didn't participate.
Done.

Will we get a public result of the survey? :)
I <3 GOG

Hopefully you don't mind the love letter I typed in one of my responses.

Just kidding.

...

Or am I?

As I said in the survey, I'd love to see GOG's catalog become massive, but I realize just how hard, realistically, it must be to wrangle over licensing, properties, rights, etc. So just keep bringin' us good games and I'll continue to purchase 'em. :D
