Zeewolf: Sounds good, but please also release some more games. It's been too slow lately. :-)

Destro: Don't worry, our team is working on some really sweet new deals as well. The future looks bright, that's all I can say :-).
Meanwhile, we're tuning in to our 1st anniversary celebration with a special Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal for Interplay's catalogue. We do not plan anything like this again anytime soon (maybe even ever), so it's a pretty unique opportunity to stock up on some great classics for a superb price and clean up the personal wishlist a bit as well ;).
Btw, I know the anniversary thing start tomorrow, but let me be the first to say it: thank you, you all have made this possible!!! :)
you know, if it helps any, I know sales like this are mad, but I was hoping you guys would release content and not necessarily do sales. a sale is great, but at least with only a new content release, you're getting full price and enticing customers.
not to say I don't want this sale, I think I have my two games picked out, but I would have been just as happy, if not happier with new content opposed to a sale.

Kingoftherings: Hey, you didn't mention Interplay, can I assume you meant all games are eligible? :D
Either way, thanks GOG!!!! <3333

Quoting the original article: "free Interplay game for every Interplay game purchased". I've edited previous post to avoid any confusion :)
Sweet deal going to get 4 games although one is jaggared alliance 2 expansion of which I haven't played the others. Hopefully those will be promo'd soon as well :P

No, thank you and the rest of the team at GOG for all the hard work you guys put into bringing us these games. I can't imagine it's easy to get companies to hand over the rights to sell these old IP's let alone without any form of DRM or checks (I don't even think there's a watermark on the files is there?)
So, happy birthday, and here's to a long prosperous life for GOG. I look forward to the day when something like Crysis or Fallout 3 is considered a GOG and on here for sale. :)

You're very welcome. And thank you to the whole GOG team for providing us with convenient access to many classic titles. I wish you many more years to come.
An early congrats to a great site and a great team. Here's looking to a second round of applause next year at this time. :)
On one side, I'm glad to see the site doing well. And the way you decided the celebrate it is really sweet. But on other side I think of the hole this will create in my wallet ...
In any event, congratulations, GOG, and thank you.

Delixe: No more excuses for me then. Sacrifice and Giants it is.

Wishbone: Excellent choice, sir! You will not regret it ;-)

I was hoping the same but neither game grabbed me

Grab the giants demo it might change your mind.
I like Interplay so much that I already have all the games I want from their catalogue, I think. I'd spring for D3 again, because I don't have the expansion, plus hey, it's D3. I don't see any others though... wonder if it would be 50% off each title?

I didn't like the demo at all, frankly.
It didn't even run very well. :\

No no, you misunderstand. I bought the giants & sacrifice bundle a while back, the full games failed to grab me

Like many others, I'll send that "Thank you" right back towards you and all the other folks behind GOG. GOG is one of the rare places I can buy games from with little worry, knowing that I'll be getting a quality product, with no hassle, backed by excellent customer service, and at a great price to top it all off. So, thank you for bringing us good old games for the past year, and come tomorrow I'll be raising a glass to everyone behind GOG, in thanks, and in the hope that this endeavor is proving successful for you guys and that you'll be continuing to bring us more good old games for many years to come.
