Well I'm gonna be sending GOG a request to recommend Kali to all of GOG. In the meantime, let me do the recommending first: Kali actually WORKS painlessly. In fact, it is quite possibly the most painless of all the VPNs I've tried. It even succeeded where Hamachi failed. So far, I've tried Kali with Interstate 76 and Die by the Sword - and while I76 refused to play over IPX for some reason (I can join/host, but it always crashes at the "DRIVE OFFENSIVELY" screen) - Die by the Sword worked beautifully. Yes, I finally got DBTS to work.
So, if you guys would like to play some really old games over IPX, but Hamachi or Tunngle failed to serve, look into Kali. It works.

Seriously. You have no idea how happy it's made me today. Or perhaps even for the next 5 days, for that matter. Took me an ass of a long time to fix it up on Hamachi and Tunngle, only to crash and burn. Kali, despite some initial issues, actually worked. I'm elated and almost orgasmic.
By the way, if you have DBTS, let's get together for a session, why don't we.

Holy crap, Kali still exists? It has to have been almost a decade since I last heard that VPN client mentioned.

It's been barely updated, but it's still functional. I'm hesitant to get a paid membership though, as I don't think those guys really deserve my money (their support for the game seems very half hearted). Nevertheless, it's great it supports old games.
