Not in. I already have it here. But its a very fun game. I find myself growing attached to my minions and get a little outraged when someone dares kill them.

Wishbone: I'm playing the GOG release at the moment (never played it before) and I'm having a blast, so while I'm obviously not in, I do recommend others to enter. The game is slightly clunky, and there are certainly things I would have liked it to have done better, but all in all it's a very fun game.

F1ach: I have it on 360 so I used a 360 controller and found the controls OK, are you using M/KB?
I am, but it's not so much the controls, although the direct control of the minions is somewhat difficult. No, it's more the AI, the level design and the lack of save-anywhere. It's very obvious that it was designed for consoles, and not much effort went into the PC version beyond a straight port.

1. You can't change (or even see) the controls in-game.
2. Getting minions to pick up weapons and armor is sometimes like rolling dice.
3. Minions occasionally get stuck in the scenery.
4. There's a lot of walking the same long paths over and over again involved.
5. Upgrading items requires ridiculous amounts of grind to gather enough life force (poor sheep).
6. There are too few teleport points. Getting to a specific place from your tower sometimes requires a lot of walking.

Of course, it's not all bad, far from it. Like I said, I'm actually having a blast with the game, and the points I listed are just the things I'd like to have worked better than they do.

One thing I find odd is that the game I've most often seen others compare this to is Dungeon Keeper, which I don't understand at all. It's nothing like Dungeon Keeper. In fact, if I had to compare the gameplay to another game, it would be Sacrifice. Of course, both games are personal favorites of mine so it doesn't really matter to me, but I don't understand why people would compare it to Dungeon Keeper.

Well tbh I haven't played it since release and I don't remember any of those things being an issue (probably rose tinted specs), as regards Dungeon Keeper, probably the droll wit would be my guess at a similarity :)

Well yes, the style and theme of the game is definitely reminiscent of Dungeon Keeper, but the game mechanics are anything but.
I am in.
Final bump
I'm in, thank you!

But I'm an angel :)
