Up for grabs - one key for the indie platformer similiar (in a way) to Super Meat Boy ... ELECTRONIC SUPER JOY!

To enter - tell me why you enjoy tough as nails games in the style of I Wanna Be The Guy / Super Meat Boy etc - and why I should give the key to you.

Winner will be decided probably Sunday or Monday I guess... Rep above 50 / join date before May 2013 etc etc...
Thanks for the giveaway, Bigs! Count me in :)

I like tough as nails games because they often give a level of satisfaction that easier games just simply can't (especially oldschool or oldschool-styled platformers). For instance, I beat Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, and I felt on fire for the next few hours. I even booted up and played another classic platformer I had been having trouble with because, screw it, I beat Castlevania III, I CAN DO ANYTHING!

Also, you should give it to me because I beat Castlevania III...without any milk.
I don't enjoy them, I hate them. They kick my ass and laugh at me while they do it, however like the school bully you have to stand up to them and try try again.

So count me in then tell megaman to leave me alone :)
I'm in for samlii... I love/hate this kind of game as well, and still have SuperMeatBoy to finish, so... for now is enough.

Thanks Bigs, awesome as always! ;P
I'm in, thanks
Well, I enjoy those games because simply you can't complete them if you are not a skilled player.
They are not an Assassin's Creed or a no-brain title, where you just push a button and something magic happen XD

I enjoy it cause.... I like the challenge, I guess.

You should give this to me, cause I got sklillz. I've played a whole lot of N.
I enjoy them because of the challenge involved, but in a different way than a fancy new big game title that is simply very hard. They're more old school hard, and I've liked such games way back, and I clearly still like them, even if I can get stuck because one bit in the middle is a little too hard the first 100 tries and I give up for a while, only to come back later.

I'm in for samlii, if you don't mind Bigs. Thanks ! :-)

I love the die and retry. With a good arcade stick and a lot of time ! :-)
Theres nothing quite so enjoyable as beating a game that seems impossible

Besides, I smashed through VVVVVV like it was Word Rescue ;)
(that might be a slight exaggeration)
I'm also in for samlii. Thank you for the giveaway, +1.

I enjoyed "Super Meat Boy" immensely because the controls were smooth as silk and it was evident that when I died it was because I made a mistake and not because the game was defective. However I don't consider "I Wanna Be The Guy" in the same league as "Super Meat Boy", because it isn't really a platformer, it's more of a trial and error game. You take a step, you die because something inconceivable happened and you start over.

I think you should give the key to samlii because he's a really cool dude. :)

First of all, +1 for the giveaway.

Second of all, count me in.

Truth is that is not my favorite genre, but then again, I guess they are way better than Diablo. I enjoy the challenge so I'm up for it.

BTW, the last platformer I finished was.............

Gods or Golden Axe. I guess since I'm a PC Gamer, not many platformers for it.
Thanks for the giveaway! I'd also like to enter for samlii, if I may. +1
