I like this type of games. :D reminds me a bit of Princess Maker (1 & 2)

I find the concept behind the game interesting. I have to admit the anime art kind of threw me, but this seems more Crusader Kings II than Recettear. If this game lives up to what it claims, I think it could be quite fun.

I had to read the comment twice before I got it, but I believe what Judas is saying is "I know you don't like the game that is being given away", not "I know you don't like that the game is being given away".

What I am against is presenting a game in a way that makes it look like something it is not. I am also very much against pedophilia, but since we've established that the game does not contain it, that's rather a moot point.

It seems to me that all these misconceptions stem from my original comment on page 1 of the release thread, and that nobody has read a word I've written since then. You have access Judas, if you wanted you could probably confirm that I did in fact give the OP a +1 around the time I first posted in this thread. I assure you it was genuine.

Not in due to backlog, but I have to say the game looks like a ton of fun and I'm really looking forward to playing it when I have more time and I've finished a few more games.

Ah. Then you probably shouldn't have included that bit in your quote. I always edit my quotes so I only quote the part I'm actually responding to. Otherwise people tend to misunderstand each other.

That makes more sense, then. The phrasing combined with the fact that you quoted the last line of my post led me to believe you thought I had something against the giveaway, which I don't. Quite the contrary.

Thank you.

It wasn't directed at you, but for the general attitude in the release thread. I don't like when people judge things without experience, and the closest comparison to that I could think of at the moment was Fox News.

The game is not porn. But even if it was, I'd still buy it.

I wanna play it because I've always been down for visual novel/sim games (finished a route of Katawa Shoujo a few weeks ago), and this one looks pretty funny. I never slam anything before trying it...well, except for maybe new Pokemon games, but that's just part of the fun ;P

When I saw the game page, my heart skipped a beat.
Then my curiosity was picked : what is that ? what does it do here ?
And I watched the video. It wasn't at all what I expected and you know ... a good surprise is one of the best assets of entertainment products in general (a good movie which you know all the twists in advance is meh, an average game that surprises you is a memorable gameplay experience).
Finnaly I read Judas's opinion here and there and it finished to convince me that it could be a really fun advnture text driven experience :)

So I'm in and thank you for your generosity and your will to create discussions about subjects you care about :)

I'm in, mainly because I really liked the art style and the idea of simulating the life of a teenage princess. I love these unexpected settings.
