WarbossAohd: Having a high enough skill or stats can influence dialogue choices, giving you option you might otherwise not have.

Question, if i win can i gift this to someone?
Oh and remember, when your reading hints and walkthroughs, as you probably will end up doing, and it says you need an int of 8 to get the dialog choice and you only have an int of 6 remember that you can always munch a mentat chem to temporarily boost your Int by a couple (charisma and perception too IIRC)

You never get to perm boost your base stats though and the only equipment that does it is the power armour, as I said before so build your character wisely!

*edit*
Also, you can use the steal/pickpocket skill to plant stuff on people as well as rob them (as comes in handy exactly once AFAIK)

Still not in

blotunga: I don't want to give spoilers but in Fallout 1 you have a time-constraint for the main quest, so beware. Also I found that NPCs are mostly useless :D. So charisma is not really necessary. I usually wouldn't take the Skilled trait because you loose lots of perks that way, however the Gifted trait is usually well worth it.
Count me in and +1.

NPCs are not useless, they can help you carry a lot.

My advice: Invest in Intelligence since it determines the amount of skills you gain per level. Also agility determines the amount of actions you can do in battle.
When you're injured don't rest for healing. First use up all the attempts first aid and doctor you have even if those skills are extremely low and you fail most of the time. It will still be faster than resting and you even get bonus XP when you succeed. Only rest when you've used up all healing for the day.
Timed game no me gusta :(
Is it for all missions, some, or is it because of the main plot? (link to a post if this has been answered, don't want to read through the whole thread since I don't want to be spoiled).

And I'm not in, you should gift the game to the ones helping you out :D Thanks for the giveaway!

True, but you don't need that much in F1 anyway... One supersledge and that's it :D
thanks for the GA! in & +1! :D

also about the fallout game,I can't remember anything so discerning.

I just played with a character template I usually use in almost all crpgs, good talker crap fightrer :P made it more challenging, especially when it was in hardest difficulty combat and otherwise :P fun :P

thanks again! :D
What do I wish I knew about Fallout when i played it...

Alien Blasted

Sorry for the delayed response, but yes, you may gift the game to whoever you please. :)

And thanks so much for all the great input, everyone! I truly appreciate it. I got much more useful information that I was expecting and think I will enjoy the hell out of this game.

I'll leave the drawing open until later today, so another 6-10 hours probably.

Thanks for your generosity akhliber ! :-)
Not in since I'm too rubbish at Fallout to help someone, but it's a great giveaway ! :-)
I'm not in. I've never played any Fallout game. Deponia is not a game of my favorite genre. So, let someone else wins it. Thanks, Akhliber.

You're still more than welcome to enter, if you care to. The Fallout advice was more "imaginary extra credit." ;)

ggf162: I learned the it's much easier to tell between bodies if there is absolutely no gore. So I play with gore turned off and no bloody mess.

I guess I'm in :p

In this case I would love to be in, Deponia looks so great !
Thanks akhliber ! :-)
When I played the game the first time, I found the resolution quite painful. There's a widescreen mod that takes care of that, though. I seem to remember that you can select the resolution pretty freely, but I'd recommend a modest increase - something like 1280 x 960. See what works best for yourself.
