So lately, as I've been getting busier, I've been getting into indie games, mostly because they're a bit shorter and require less engorgement/time. Recently I've been playing The Binding of Isaac and loving it; as a new fan of rogue-likes I'm also planning to get Dungeons of Dredmor. I'm also a fan of indie strategy, Atom Zombie Smasher is one of my favourites.

I'm looking at some recommendations for some indie games I could get. At the moment I'm considering Space Chem and Dungeons of Dredmor.

Your task: Recommend me an indie game or two! That's it!

Winner: 5.99 Game from GoG (drawn through random.org)

The prizes will be drawn on Friday night (AEST)

yeap, great game!

By the way, if you suggest a game I already have it still counts as an entry
You might also enjoy Orcs Must Die. And from a completely different genre, get Cortex Command - while it's not finished and probably never will be, it works just fine and it's like worms with strategy and physics. Blast in 2 players.

I have both, got Orcs Must Die at Christmas and Cortex Command with one of the Humble Bundles

Uplink, if you're into 'hacking'.

Blocks That Matter is a simple yet sweet game. Somewhat between puzzle and platformer.
@Prakaa

How about Magicka then? Oh wait I don't think that's strictly indie... But it's pretty cool! Sanctum's pretty awesome as well.

Haha sorry I do have Magicka, great game but best played co-op

I've been tossing up about whether to get Sanctum or not, I've heard it's pretty good

So you like Roguelikes... Then you might want to try Desktop Dungeons. Still in beta but looks very cool.

I'd also recommend SpaceChem. I have 40 hours in it and still only half way through the campaign. This game was the biggest surprise for me after I tried (I got it with an Humble Bundle).

If you like strategy you might want to try Greed Corp and Eufloria. Both have very simple rules and a decent campaign.

If you are into tower defense then I can recommend Gratuitous Space Battles and Unstoppable Gorg. The former has a unique approach the latter has a great atmosphere.

Is Defence Grid any good?
Everyone who has played it appears to love "To The Moon".

Defence Grid: The Awakening? It's a great game - I might even have a spare key for it somewhere. I'll hit you up on Steam after I finish work today.
