My favorite strategy game? Tough question (so many of them): Age of Empires series, Sid's Meier Alpha Centauri, Starcraft, Warcraft series, Command & Conquer series (spin-offs included), Master of Orion 1 & 2, Pirates! Gold...

But I still remember with great fondness the game which won my heart forever for RTS games: Dune 2. So that's my election. ;)

hmmm my favorite strategy game is a tough one... I would have to say emperor of the fading suns. Its an older game based around trying to become emperor by combat and diplomacy. sadly this masterpiece isn't on gog, or anywhere for that matter, but I still have my old computer set up to play it (I lost the disc awhile back but the game doesn't require it to play so all is good)
