Since I feel a little generous... I thought I'd give away the complete pack of Tex Murphy games that are available on GOG - this is for the WHOLE PACK (1 gift code only - I'd have loved to share the goodness around, but GOG would only let me buy the games as a pack since I own them all... maybe next time...)

Basically tell me why I should give these to you... add in any amusing stories related to being a PI if you wish.

Winner will be determined either by my choice... or by random.org - but hey, you have to be in it to win it! :P

I'm a huge adventure games fan but never got to finish a Tex Murphy game. I once bought one (Under a Killing Moon, I think) but didn't get the chance to finish it as I stumbled on a game breaking bug that prevented me to complete it. I ended up returning the game to the store and taking another game... it was a time were you could return a game to the store without being accused of piracy :-)

Anyway, I got the Tex Murphy 1+2 for free when GOG.com gave it but didn't play them yet. And I'm about to skip the kickstarter because of all the projects I already supported. Receiving and playing the 3 FMV games could help me change my mind.

The most amusing memories related to a PI are related to one game: Discworld Noir. If you enjoy a great adventure game, like funny stories and PIs, do yourself a favor and get it NOW ! (but I don't know where it can be found).

Thanks for the giveaway.

Think you should give them away to me as in my sheer single minded blindness I have never played any of these games. In all honesty until I came to GOG I had never even heard of them so I think its about time I played them!

I enjoy adventure games, but I've never played any of these. I hadn't even heard of them before joining GOG.

Detective Conan can be considered as PI? I like the anime but sometime i found it's amusing. Never mind about the Suspension of disbelief part (the legendary sleeping Kogoro Mouri), i feel the motive of the killers from most of the episodes are too petty to commit a crime / killing. Mostly because of jealousy? Probably the writer can't think of better idea, save for the epic and long episode. You can give them to me because i love mystery, detective old school looking adventure game (and who don't want free stuff?).
