ET3D: I'm sorry, I didn't mean at any point to blame K_1269 for this, or to complain. I was following up on my post where I said I'm going to play it soon with Kainy if I can, and when it turned out that I can't I posted about it by way of saying "sorry, it might take me longer to get to play this than I had planned". By the way, there's no guarantee it would have worked with Kainy even in windowed mode.

Obviously that wasn't clear at all, and in retrospect I should have spelled it out or posted it as an edit to my previous post (or both). Given that this was my intention I felt the "you should have let someone else win it" comment was insulting. In retrospect I can see it was a result of the misunderstanding.

So apologies to anyone offended. I'm very grateful that I won the game, and if I have any complaint it's to the developers who haven't seen fit to include a windowed mode, but I didn't mean to raise that as a complaint here. I do plan to get to play the game eventually, but as I said, if it worked with Kainy I would have stopped playing GK1 and played it instead.

Antimateria: I read it and why should anyone really be unhappy, about things. People are giving things usually it's not me who wins but I draw the line thatt if you required to apogolize.. well, can't write that word right.
Anyway the point is, why are there some poeple who complain if some one is giving away from his or hers own pockets, it's freakin insane.
good manners it's all good but still. If you are entering in giveaway, no need apologies, propably I should make mine next month.. which is like.. Well.. I'm old1-month. (it's every day ^^)

ET3D: Some web searching found me a utility called DxWin, which is supposed to help force fullscreen DirectX games to run in a window. I don't know if Yesterday is a DirectX game or if it will work with this, but that's the next thing to test. It might also help some other GOG games, which would be nice.
