I purchased Strike Fighters 2 a bit earlier tonight. I had time to only check some options (auto detected my joystick and resolution) and played like 3-4 min of instant action.
WOW. If you are looking for a modern flight sim, get it. Yes, by modern I mean 60s-70s for this specific version, but damn it felt good!

I second that. The whole Strike Fighters 2 series (SF2, Vietnam, Europe, Israel and First Eagles 2) is definitely worth it.

Where and which version did you got?
I've added the games to the wishlist, just now that you reminded me of this series.

What surprised me more was two things. How fluid and natural the movement feels and how close to reality speed feels like.
No, no no.
1)It's ww2
2)It's Starforced.
Strike Fighters 2 is without any drm.

I got it from
https://store.thirdwire.com/store.htm
Bottom of the page (top are expansion packs/autonomous games) with the name Strike Fighters 2. I got it for $14;99 !!!! That's 11 euros! Cheap and no "euro stealing conversion rate".
The game was already patched with the latest Feb2010 version.
