I couldnt imagine what life would be like, not knowing Fallout...no memories playing Fallout...so empty...

Well, before I heard of the first one, I saw my fiance playing the 3rd one, and it seemed all action-shooter, so I didn't look into it anymore. Bad me! :P

So Fallout 3 tricked you into thinking all the Fallout games are action games. That is a good reason, I think. I hope Verwandlung gifts you Fallout. :)

I have never played any Fallout game because I'm waiting in hope to make someone happy by giving the opportunity to gift it to me.

LoL. Me 2. I never thought of the Fox television network. Fox News has earned such public ire that I just assumed it was they who Verwandlung was talking about. It took a fair bit of Google searching to put together all those links in my list. I was surprised about just how deep and widespread the anti-Fox News feeling really is.

I spent most of the 90's backpacking around my country. There wasn't room in my pack for a PC ;~P

And when I began getting re-domesticated, I was all about Civ3 and its mods. When Civ4 came around I discovered a Fallout mod for it. I've been interested in playing Fallout ever since. But since I missed most of PC's gaming early history I have much to make up for. My "to experience" list is pretty full, and slow to be realized. In other words, I haven't gotten around to getting the game yet despite being interested in it for many years now.

I have Fallout (a non GOG version), obtained after it was recommended to me on this thread here. But twice already I tried to play it, and I was distracted by something else. The first time was distracted by Septerra Core, and the second time by In Cold Blood. Now I promise myself one of these days I will play Fallout... yeah, one of these days...

I would, but i'm not too comfortable with the idea of giving out my address online to a random stranger, no offense :)

But anyways, i've tried playing it many times and i just can't get into it, 1) i royally suck at these kind of RPGs (i.e isometric, turn-based RPGs) and 2) The game feels a little too hardcore, even for me. It's why i found FallOut 3 all that better, it's easier for me to get into since i'm already comfortable around shooters.

Everyone can call me crazy too, i'm fine with that, but i much prefer FallOut 3 over FallOut 1 and 2 tyvm.
