Dear GOG,

Merry Christmas! Y'all are, as always, my favorite online community (and incidentally, the only one I still frequent). In the spirit of giving rather than receiving, Miaghstir and I will be giving some games to some well deserving members!

But there's a catch! This isn't for you! No, in order to get the 'prize,' tell me someone else on GOG that deserves the game, why, and what code you would like to give them. The most compelling stories will earn the free games on Christmas Eve.

Parcel 1
Up to $10 in games. That would be any combinations of games adding up to no more than $10. ~ contributed by RH

Parcel 2
Some combination of games up to $15. These will be parcelled out to individuals as best as we can manage. More gifts means spreading more love around! ~ contributed by Miaghstir (whose name I rarely can spell correctly).

Parcel 3
Some combination of games up to $10. See above! ~ contributed by Cassidy!

"God bless us, every one."

Ubivis, for all of his work on the GOG Advent Calendar. According to his wiki wish list, he wants Advent Rising. I think that is a good choice!

Thank you for your generosity as well.

I second this.

Would also like to cast another vote for Xyem, for both his weekly and random giveaways. No idea what does that cat want, though.
Thank you for your generosity.

I would give darknath the game Warlords Battlecry 3 because of all the giveaways he holds. He deserves something in return for his generosity.

Thirded.

There are many to choose, but few have their wishlists available. Xyem was another choice, but it looks as if he has all the GOGs (from his wiki page).

I'd go along with this... if he can rig the draw so that I may win an arrow to the knee... I mean Skyrim (or DX: HR) if there are any left in the unopen doors!

Nah... I'd 2nd this nomination anyway... or anything on darknath's wishlist - for running his giveaway site, or anything on KneetheCap's wishlist - cause he gifted me TW2 outside of the AU region! :P
I would give it to ne_zavarj

I had a grumble about the entry reqs for his contest and now I feel bad about it. If I could win a game it would be nice for him and make me feel better about what I said
I'll give one to Dischord because he is always gifting people games and I admire that.not sure what he wants
I think darknath is the most suitable candidate. I know he love Skyrim, so maybe some of classic RPGs here will do it.

The first time he came here, he already showered us with his non-stop generosity. Be it GOG giveaway, contest, Steamgifts, passess or beta key even for consoles. If i'm not mistaken he planned to make special giveaway for Christmas or Holiday but his finance took a hit. At that time i feel sorry for him because he already planned thoroughly and bought some of the games for that giveaway purpose.
But that still not stop him for making countless other giveaway and contest. Can you imagine someone who took an arrow to his knee about a month ago can still be so generous? This is testament to that: http://darknath.blogspot.com/
Complete forgot about darknath...

It's impossible to choose oone.

thx but i think there are more deserving people here (and i already been gifted)

and even though some here are voted that do great work like dischord, xyem and ubivis
unless they want a game which they naturally deserve it, but i think its in their spirit to give and nominate a game to someone who can use it and perhaps cant afford it

Oh, hey, people are actually responding! Awesome! Hugs to all of you for the unselfish responses! (Except to those who don't like hugs. Cookies for YOU. And if you don't like cookies, Santa doesn't love you any more, so you should go make nice to the Easter Bunny as soon as possible).

A better job.

Hmm.. I'm going to go with orcishgamer because of how often I see people thanking him for making posts in which delivers his opinion, clarifies other peoples posts and adds to the discussion .. in a completely civil manner .. on the internet.

Because created this nice giveaway

You, the reader of this post (except if you're also me, the writer, because me wishing something for myself would be rather selfish).

Why? Because you help make this community what it is. Whether you're a handle recognise and have seen dozens, if not hundreds or thousands of times,or if you're a handle I cannot remember ever seeing, or for that matter one I've never even taken notice of because your one and only only post so far was in a "say something and get a chance to win a game" thread. Whether you're generally helpful, mostly a troll, or just a noise generator. No matter who you are, what you believe in, or how many free games you think you deserve, you are a part of the greatness that is the GOG.com community.

And to that end, that another few goglodytes may receive a game, I will add a total worth of $15 to Runehamster's offer (that is, 5 $3 games, 3 $5 games, or 3 $3 and 1 $5 game), unless he objects. I will let him decide per his stated rules, and tell me the ones I should take care of.
