LordCinnamon: Also, I think that maybe we should have seperate threads for GOG-trades and other trades. Because the concept behind GOG trades is different from the "I have a key for game x, who wants to trade?" trades.

I myself could have said that! That's exactly what I think.
Also, I'm glad you answered Bio2hazard's call, as I found it a refreshing change it was about what the true, original intention of this thread was.

LordCinnamon: Say, did you manage to get a trade yet? If not, I'm interested. Do you want to know/decide what to get, or do you want it to be a surprise?
If you're still interested, I'll post my list+email.

Hey =)
No, I have not gotten any trades yet so yeah I am interested =)
Suprise suggestion would be good, even though It'd be best if you'd mention the game you have in mind before hand, as I have played literally thousands of games ( so my list is far crom complete ).
I've been somewhat eyeing Original Combat since it seems like something I would enjoy, but I'm on the fence on that one. Also been looking at Advent Rising. I also have never touched MDK and MDK 2 even though they are supposed to be excellent games.
But those are just honorable mentions, in the end, I'd like a suprise that you would think suits me. I'm a pretty easygoing fellow and I find something to like in almost every game out there so shouldn't be too hard =D
Go ahead and post your list and we can get this thing going!

I prefer to give I game I played myself. Judging from your list, Jagged Alliance 2 seems a perfect choice. If you instead feel like something that's completely different from everything on your list, Psychonauts is something else I'm considering. It's a game I had a *lot* of fun with. I'm also considering gifting you Original War (you meant that one with Original Combat, right?), since that's been on my wishlist for quite some time as well.
My list:
Sacrifice
Giants
Fallout 1+2+tactics
Ghost Master
Arx Fatalis
Beyond Good and Evil
Simon the Sorceror
Descent 1+2+3
HoMM III
MM pack
Earth 2160
Cannon Fodder
Jagged Alliance 2(+unfinished business&wildfire)
Freespace 1+2
Disciples 2
Gothic 1+2
Stonekeep
Pro Pinball: Timeshock
Septerra Core
Gorky 17
The Guild
Sacred
MDK 1+2
Warlords Battlecry
Divine Divinity
Psychonauts
Sanitarium
Spellforce
UT2004
My dislikes are pretty much the same as yours, no racing games or flights sims. I just got into adventure games and haven't played any that are not already on my list. I also like 2d/3d platform games, tactical games, RPGs and strategy games. Shooters are a bit risky, they'd need to do something special to entertain me.
Well, just tell me if you have a preference for one of the three I mentioned, I'll let you surprise me.

Hey :D
Alas .. I've been playing Jagged Alliance 2 ever since it came out and forgot to add it to my list.. I apologize :D I've been playing so many games that my memory on games is a bit foggy ( or rather, if i'd list them all I'd be busy for way too long =D ).
But you are right in your choice, I absolutely love that game to death. The only game i have found to come close to the tactical depths of JA2 would be Silent Storm 2 which ironically is impossible to find on digital distribution. I actually imported it from the UK for about 20 bucks a week ago and found it does not run on my Vista machine. /sad
I have also played Psychonauts, which I also loved. On Xbox 360 originals though which is why i forgot to list that.
I'd be cool with Original War ( yeah thats what I meant, my bad! ), or anything else you can think of.
I'll try to put together a more concrete games of what I have that is available on GoG:
I have / have played:
Arx Fatalis
Beneath a Steel Sky
Beyond Good & Evil
Broken Sword: Smoking Mirror
Darkstar One
Disciples 2
Earth 2140
Earthworm Jim
Evil Genius
Fallout Games
Far Cry
Flatout
Ghost Master
Giants
Gorky 17
Gothic Series
Heroes Series
Incoming
JA2 + Expansions
Lords of Magic
Might And Magic Pack
Prince of Persia Sands of time
Pro Pinball Timeshock
Psychonauts
Realms of Arkania Series
Runaway
Sacrifice
Septerra Core
Shattered Steel
Shogo
Stonekeep
Tex Murphy UAKM
The very first The Incredible Machine
The Longest Journey
The Settlers 2 + 5
Tropico Reloaded
UFO Series
Unreal Gold
Unreal Tournament + 2004
Warlords Battlecry 3
Phew, thats the whole list. Probably should have listed that from the beginning so really sorry, my bad ( the first list i was doing from memory, not looking at the games available on GoG. This time its 100% accurate! )
Suprise me! This time I have named every single game on GoG that I either own or have played to oblivion when it came out.
Based on your list, I have picked a game I think you would like and I have gifted it to your gmail: Prince of Persia - Sands of Time.
It was a very close call between The Longest Journey and Sands of Time, with Sands of Time winning ever so slightly for just being generally awesome with a very innovative feature.
Sands of Time is, along with Mario 64 and Psychonauts are my most favorite 3D Platformer, and as far as pure platforming goes it is easilly better than Mario and Psychonauts put together. The combat is not that enjoyable in this installment, but the story is dreamy, the characters are well fleshed out, the lead character is likeable and the gameplay very smooth. Enjoy! And if you feel like checking out a adventure game, The Longest Journey is probably your best bet =)

Haha, well both of those were on my wishlist, so I'm happy ^ ^
With the list you've posted now, there remain preciously few options. I'm not sure if I'd have dared to offer you a gift if I'd seen this list instead of your first. So maybe it's all for the better =D
Saaaay, I'm going to ask before gifting, just in case, but have you played The Guild? That very much fits with your "don't mind having to work hard to get somewhere in a game, as long as its rewarding in the end" statement. It's dangerously addictive though =)
EDIT: also, I see my gift has arrived already! Thanks a lot, very happy with it! I'll sent you yours as soon as I know for sure you haven't played it already.

Glad you are happy with it =)
I have not played the guild yet. I believe it was pretty big here in germany but it must have passed by me when I was younger, so nope, never played it so go for it =D
I have no idea really what that game is but the screenshots look rather intruiging. I always thought it was a management sim, but the screenshots of mostly being inside buildings suggest otherwise.. so I am rather curious now :) ( Nothing wrong with management games anyhow =) )
Thanks! =) I'm always interested in broadening my list of games and learn of new games.
Again, sorry for not posting the full list before hand. =)

No problem. Gift is on its way =) Thanks for reviving the original intent of this thread. I think I'll start a new Give a GOG, get a GOG thread seperate from this one now.
I have codes for gog games:
9.99$ games:
- Disciples 2 GOLD
- Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete Edition
- Prince of Persia: TSoT
- Sacred GOLD
- Sensible Soccer 2006
5.99$ games:
- Broken Sword 3
- Cannon Fodder
- FlatOut
- Gorky 17
- Simon the Sorcerer 2
And I'd like to exchange them for steam keys or steam gifts.
