FatDiva: Aaaaaaaa! I forgot to mention I had that one on Steam. I'm sorry - but I do enjoy Beyond Good and Evil a lot!
Have fun! And by the way, you'll want to pick up eDuke32 and install it. It makes the game lots better.

:). Already installed eDuke32. I'll gift B&GE to myself then, instead. You'll get something else soonish.
EDIT: There. That should still work with the new and different category.

sik160: I'm fine with whatever $ amount. As for games i would like a game that is not from The Racing or The Adventure section other than that I wouldn't mind.
What about you do you dislike any genres or is it all good?

I'm pretty open when it comes to genre to be honest, so whatever you think I might like. As for price point, I've got a game in mind for you that's $10 but please don't feel the need to restrict yourself to that if you think there's a better game for less :)
Also, what's your email address? mine's jgabrielrowe [at] hotmail.com
EDIT: I should also mention that I own Painkiller and Far Cry separate from GOG already. :)

That did the trick - I've never played Giants before! Thanks!

Awesome, thank you sir! Yeah, that's my email. You should have a gift email in your inbox. :)
The game I sent you is a game I first found out about on GOG, and it's quickly become a real favorite. I highly recommend going through the tutorials, which are actually pretty fun to play. :)

I'm having problems buying the second game, which as you might have guessed is Freespace 2. Sorry, I will try again in the morning. :(

No worries, thank you sir! To be honest, I've never played the series, but have always been curious :)
Zolgar has the funds to participate once more.
Zolgar avoids First Person Shooters, racing games and sports games.
Zolgar especially enjoys RTS and RPGs.
Zolgars present list:
Sacred Gold
Fallout (1, 2, tactics.)
Earth Worm Jim 1 and 2
Perimiter
Hostile Waters: Anteus Rising
Warlords Battlecry III
Jagged Alliance 2

JudasIscariot: Fenixp just got Guilded and I got Perimeter from him! Thanks Fenixp!
My updated list of games:
Gothic 2 Gold
Arx Fatalis
Sacred Gold
The Guild Gold
Die By The Sword
Port Royale 2
Patrician 3
Duke Nukem 3d
MDK2
Perimeter
So who else wants to swap?
MDK2 is awesome so far!! I love the background music! I can't believe I missed this!

How does this work?
Swap games? Is that legal? I know I must be missing something here, but how do you swap games?
I did not think there was a way to buy a game you already own?
Need a bit of salt here to understand.

you can gift them.
If you look on the product page there is a link to "gift the game to a friend".
So basically you gift game X to person A. And person A gifts game Y to you.
Both parties pay for their game, of course, so it's not entirely a "swap". As has been expressed it's more of exchanging game suggestions.
So say, you express liking RTSs, and I like RPGs.
I would send you a copy of Perimeter or Warlord Battlecry III, and in turn you would send me.. Septerra Core.
(randomly chosen titles.)

On the game info page, there's a link called "Gift this game", there's where you buy games to send to someone else (you enter an e-mail address to send a code to, that code can be used to redeem that game (I assume, as i haven't either gifted nor been given a game, i don't know the exact process)). The list of games someone already owns is information to avoid having someone gifting you a duplicate.
EDIT: Bah, Zolgar was quicker, though I have a tiny bit more info.

It's even more fun to gift a game to someone who doesn't have that many games of the genre in his list. That way they get a completely new kind of gaming experience.
