I have never gifted a game and I should probably know this by now, but how does this work? Do you get a buy a gift code and then email it to someone and they in turn send you a code? Are the gift codes game specific, as in 1 Code = Oddworld or 1 Code = $5.99 game? Is this thread mainly for trying out games you normally would not?

Yeah its game specific when you buy a game for someone else. The only universal ones I'm aware of is the GOG contest winner codes that set the purchase price to 0

OK, so I will give you Jagged Alliance 2 - a turn-based strategy, or Prince of Persia, if you don't like TBS. Choose genre which you like more, both are for 10 bucks. The only reason for not having them on GoG is that I already own them.
