lotr-sam0711: I bought it at Impulse but have yet to play it.
Maybe I'm getting confused here but I thought GOG specialized in old games. Not that I have anything against indie games (in fact, I've bought and enjoyed quite a few as of late) but I'm not sure if it is a good fit with the GOG model.

hansschmucker: You're right... we're just thinking aloud how the GoG system would best be expanded to other kinds of games.

Hey Hans,
I would prefer that GOG.com gets the old games routine down pat. Then, we can wonder about a sister site/additional section. What do you think? :-)

That would be totally cool with me, I just hope they stick to seeking out old games for a while now because there is tons of old stuff I'd love to get my hands on.

I think the first order of the day is growing the catalog. I'd just like to keep this is the back of my head (and preferably also in the back of the GoG team's heads), so that we don't miss the opportunity to get other kinds of games, just because they don't fit GoG's mission.
