I have a spare Broken Sword 2: smoking mirror for MAC on Gamersgate (http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-BS2MAC/broken-sword-2-the-smoking-mirror-mac), which I'm planning to gift since it came as an extra with the PC version during the winter sale and since I haven't used an Apple product for at least 10 years...

Anyone playing on MAC ?

Just in case more than one person would show interest in that game : one small challenge :

GOG will soon release another Ubisoft title. Try to guess which one. The closest answer ( exact game, game of the same franchise, same genre ) gets the gift ...
Yeah I am a Mac gamer.
If I get this do I need a Gamersgate account? I have never been to the site...
Oh and I need to guess a game... Prince of Persia: Warrior Within :)

I'd put my money on Call of Juarez 1 or 2, most likely 1.

The gaming magazine I buy every month comes with a free game each time. Just before Call of Juarez 2 was released we got Call of Juarez 1 as a free game (with a 5$ magazine). Obvious publicity reasons but nobody complained :D

Considering Call of Juarez 3 is up for release this year it would make sense for them to pull the same "stunt" again.

My wife likes Broken Sword and works with MACs so I think she might like it.

To make a gift on GG, I simply need a valid email. the recipient will indeed get a GG account in the process if he hasn't one but as there is no obligation to purchase and no client installation at all, it's really one of the easiest way to gift a game ;-)
Would love to get the game and here is my guess:
Dragon's Lair 3D: Return to the Lair

Loved that game 2002
And we get Battle isle platinium....

Difficult to find similiarities though.

Dragon lair and Prince of Persia have North American designers whereas Call of Juarez was developed in Europe, like Battle isle. Call of Juarez is set in the XIXth century, thzt's the closest of the 3 to Battle Isle.

Could you please send me a message on GOG PM, with your email ?

Thanks a lot :-)
Wow - top work on finding a similarity... we all picked totally unrelated ones!
Congrats to the winner and thanks to Phc7006 for the comp! :)
PM sent.

I don't think anyone would have ever expected Battle Isle. I didn't even have any idea that Ubisoft has the rights to that now.

Thanks.

By the way, I also have a spare MAC version of "Broken sword - shadow of the templar".

Anyone interested ?

Gift on its way

Ubisoft bought back Blue Bytes quite a long time ago ( 2001), but they already had a partnership for something like 10 yeras before the purchase.

The fact that Bluebytes still exists is somewhat remarkable. However, since being eaten by Ubi, they only issued "The settlers" V-VII , nothing else.
