Well, well... as I see it, one can either love or hate that weapon (I'm in the first category, but can understand your disliking it).

For example, I've found the lightning part extremely useful against Bones; a couple of zaps when you see one assembling/approaching and you don't have to worry about losing a soul to them.

Two really good games, bought Painkiller here and Ghost Master in steam, but as someone said for that price and the extras I am thinking about buying it again.
Ghost Master is a good, fun game. Later levels can be a little hard but they are still fun.

Cheers, painkiller is a great, over the top shooter.
