I just checked a couple of retailers I know used to ship globally with a standard global price, but both have now removed the information on those prices. I guess what with fuel costs and everything it's all up in the air right now.

Anyway, the retailers in question are Play and Shopto. I don't know how much luck you can expect to have with them, but Shopto in particular has some very good sales.

I bought LOTR Extended Trilogy and Starcraft 2 (and my girl bought WoW Cataclysm) from there. All arrived pretty much as expected.

Same here in the US. With a receipt at certain stores you can get a replacement only.

I moved here from the US. I can direct you towards EB Games, Gamestop and Rhino whom will all give you a trial period within which you can return the game for cash, if it doesn't work or something else, if you don't like it.

Upon uninstalling Dimensity again (had to re-download and install for GG tech support) I just remembered another thing. It's version 1.0 (not patchable) and its un-installer is broken so I had to use Revo Uninstaller to get rid of it and root out all of its registry entries. XD

Not sure what happened in your case, but I've had no problem with getting a refund from GamersGate for a game that I proved didn't work on my system. If I were you, I'd send another email to them and contact them on Twitter to ensure they don't forget.

As for their refund policy, it's pretty much no refunds. But this isn't 100% written in stone. It's easier to get a refund for a DRM free title than it is for one that has DRM/serial key. The only part of their refund policy that irks me is the no refund on pre-orders, but even then, they've issued me a refund when a complained about a game that has now been on pre-order for over 5 months. It was supposed come out within 1 month of when I originally made my pre-order.

Lol. I really don't know man. A lot of shit on the net you don't question the fairness of, you just test it with a minimal sacrifice and if it seems a bit flakey, just use it for when it benefits you the most.

I haven't given up on GG all together, I know there will be times when they are 75% cheaper than everybody else or I can visit them through proxy to get something no one else wants to sell to me. *shrugs*

But I'm not going to keep sending mail after mail to tech support and stalking for a return letter like I did yesterday. Life's too short and there are too many games and ways to get them than to stop and cry over some nobody game that I got for ten or less.

B. Realized that no one but me ever mentions this game. Kinda like all those amateur, made-in-the-basement 'Match 3' games.
C. Took heed of the warning 'Requires SSE2' and did research on it.

You have to bug them about the Blue Coins. I know I had to for my last support ticket. But they'll willingly give it to you if you fulfill the criteria on their latest Refund Policy - you just need to remind them about it hah.
IDK bro, like you, I too am contemplating getting a refund for Dungeon Defenders. The only thing keeping it in my account is that it might actually be fun, but eh, I'm a bit compelled to move on to something else if the PC crowd is going to get shafted again with another seasonal delay.

Maybe I'll just ask for a refund and spend my blue coins somewhere else, then come back to it again when it gets released.

Dungeon Defenders looks like a good game but you don't want to be left a paid customer if it becomes vaporware.

I'm waiting for it to actually be released and, even though I hate MMOs, will get it if there's no subscription fee.

I already got a refund on it. When I explained I wasn't happy with how the developers have been promoting the console versions while saying as little as possible about the PC version and the fact that they've kept changing the release date, I was given a refund with the comment "Reasonable enough".

I may well end up pre-purchasing it again (from GamersGate), but not until it goes up on Steam as a pre-order. Once it goes up there it's pretty certain to get a release within 2 weeks (as Valve won't put games from new/unknown devs up for pre-order until 2 weeks prior to release (with the exception of the dev. giving beta access to Steam customers).

But as it was, after pre-purchasing the game in August 2010 under the impression that it was getting released in November (back then, even the devs. stated that), I was less than happy about them having my money and earning interest off it. So I got the refund and spent the money on a game I was able to play right then.

It's probably worth noting that I only tend to pre-order as near to release as possible. I prefer to pre-order a few hours before release (especially if pre-ordering on Steam), but will pre-order up to a month before release on the odd occasion depending on the game. Such as with Shogun 2 which I pre-ordered today, as the 30% cashback went towards the pre-order of a game coming out early next week.

The only game I've been happy with pre-ordering months before release was the Signature Edition of Dragon Age 2, which I pre-ordered on the last day it was possible to pre-order and get that version.

But at least with those games, I know they will be released. But with Dungeon Defenders right now, I've long since lost confidence in the devs. delivering the PC version.

I've pre-ordered very few things and the last game that I can remember pre-ordering was an Nipon Ichi Role Playing game for the PS2.

GG has just refunded me.

Have close to ten Blue Coins...may consider getting Silverfall Combo from them because the ten Blue Coins will discount it to $15.

Now all I need is for them to remove the two games I gifted to someone else.
