Correction: Stooner did use his Abjurer in battle 1, so he's used 1 of the level 2 cards.

Next battle tomorrow morning. Feel free to change your lineups in the meantime.

No problem. Hope you're feeling better now.

The abjurer wasn't a level 2 card? Stooner also got some additional level 1 cards? Just curious.

Funny that 2 out of 3 of the games were mirror matches. :D
EDIT: Never mind, you answered my question about the abjurer.

Damn! Another card that will go to furnace...
Also, that Abjurer should be a level -1 card.... ;p

Congrats Adam!........... yeah, congrats..............

And I also hope you're well stoicsentry! o/
First thread's first posts had dice rolls accompanied with nice flavor fight descriptions, making it all cool and dramatic to read, Now it's just maths, must do imagination work ourselves, not the same thing... Alas alas.

I'll bring the flavor back next time.

Actually, maybe I'll stop posting the specific die rolls and just do flavorful descriptions. Sounds like fun! Thanks for the idea.
Battle 4: adambiser's Mage vs. Stooner's Red Knight

Strange noises emanate from a wooden hovel deep within the woods.

The Red Knight paused at the door momentarily, steeling himself for combat. He flung his right leg high into the air and knocked the door down with a vicious blow.

With reckless abandon, he stormed into the Mage's secret hideaway. Thick clouds of glittering smoke hung heavily in the air, and the Knight's vision was temporarily obscured.

In the corner of his eye, the Red Knight caught a glimpse of a magical beam of light heading straight toward him!

The magical attack struck him in the side of the abdomen, quickly tearing through his mighty armor and exploding just as it reached his skin.

Recognizing that he was now fatally wounded, the Red Knight charged the Mage like a man possessed. He pulled the great sword from his back and drew it down upon the Mage's chest with great precision!

What the Red Knight did not know, however, was that the Mage was protected by an invisible sphere of arcane armor. The sphere absorbed the strike of the Red Knight, leaving the Mage unhurt.

The Mage stood above the body of the deceased Red Knight.

"Fool," she said, grinning, "steel is no match for the ancient secrets of magic. I shall sell your silly weapons for scrolls."

______________________________________________________________________

Red Knight is defeated, Mage survives.

adambiser gains 1 victory point, and now leads by a score of 3 to 1.
