Hello everyone!

I have recently bought Hammerwatch and this game reminded me of the good old Get Medieval. Since I still have a physical copy of it I went ahead and installed it but it doesn't seem to work on my computer any longer....
Does anyone have a solution for this? The game crashes the moment I start shooting or running with my character.
I am running Win 7 64 bit and have tried running it in Compat mode already too.

Try turning off V-sync :)
Dual boot windows XP. If you can do that.

I still play this from time to time on my older machine that runs XP, never had an issue.

I'll try and install Windows XP mode with Windows Virtual PC. Hope that does the trick...

CCC is garbage if you want to set specific functions, for specific games. Download RadeonPro which does the same thing as CCC but better and it actually works. When installed Click on Add new profile (green + icon), locate the game .exe to add and go to Tweaks tab and set Vsync off in Vsyc Control.

No problem ;) Never rely on CCC itself but use RP for capping fps, forcing Vsync, AA, and other CCC functions.
