Here are the highest settings that I was able to get it without crashing. I guess they match the screenshots on the developer's site, so I was just talking trash in the end. Those other screenshots from people trying to be cool confused me. :( Thanks again, attached. :)

I'm confused! You say these are the highest settings you can get without crashing, but there aren't any higher settings than these.

The HQ filters are only 2x and 3x so they're actually lower resolution than the 4x filter you have there. They don't work anyway because they only support 32-bit colour games. This setup program is the standard one that all the games made in this engine use so there are a few options that don't apply to this game.

If the game still isn't big enough on your monitor at 1280x800 you must have a huge monitor. :P

So the settings you have there are the highest ones that it's possible to get and if the game runs with those then I hope you enjoy it!

Whoa, in the end it turns out to be an awesome game. Gave it a 9.5 on GameSpot. The -0.5 because of no easy way to move around, besides the esc key and some of the dialogs could've been a tad better here and there.

ps. yeah, wasn't able to stretch it across both monitors. ;p

Have any of you gotten your copies of the game yet? I just received mine today, but the DVD case is cracked, so off I go to buy a new one tomorrow.

Yeah I got mine yesterday but it is in exquisite condition in comparison. Must have been careless handling on the shipping end. I am loving the box art, very rich and lovely.
I received mine a couple days ago, the disc holder "release button" was broken so it took a bit of force to pull the disc out. I have a bunch of DVD cases lying around from the World of Warcraft game cards I've bought throughout the years though (as well as some half-width cases and cases without a disc holder).
Finished this earlier today. The fact that it keeps popping back into my head is a sign of how much I enjoyed the story.
Just nabbed the digital version of this on a whim (25% off due to the GiantBomb discount code, RUEBOMB, or whatever. It's set to expire on the 26th. I just found out just now). From what I've been reading of this game, I doubt I'll miss the money I spent on it. Looks quite incredible. I hope I won't be disappointed.
Excuse the bit of necromancy, but for anyone in the vicinity of Poland who appreciate physical copies (and missed out on the original WadjetEye pre-order edition), we've gotten just that on the shelves lately (courtesy of GOG-mother CDProjekt itself):

Not the prettiest of boxes... but it's better than nothing!
