Get the whole cinematic 3-parter bundled for only $8.97!

Runaway Trilogy, that is: A Road Adventure, The Dream of The Turtle, and A Twist of Fate, an underappreciated modern point-and-click classic with intriguing plot, nicely written characters, and movie-like narrative, is available up to 70% off on GOG.com. That's only $8.97 for the complete set of three games!

The story of Brian Bosco and his companion Gina start off small, soon to unleash a tide of intense events that will turn a simple collage student into an eccentric daredevil detective who laughs in the face of danger. Well, it might be hysterical laughter of a madman at times, or a nervous giggle of a person terrified for their life, but he sure has a way of approaching grim-looking situations with a lot of humor. Whether he's running for his life with mob breathing down his neck, crushing in a plane on a mysterious tropical island, or faking his own death to get away from a mental asylum and clear himself from murder charges, he always manages to keep a smile on his face. Paired with terror and craziness in his eyes, but a smile nonetheless.

Runaway Trilogy is one of the most cinematic adventure game series ever made. Looking and sounding better with every iteration it ended up with impressive animation, top-notch voice acting, and a movie-worthy soundtrack it's a true gem in its genre. The games mix classic point-and-click design with non-linear gameplay elements, well-executed comedy, and a story full of of surprising turns. Brace yourselves for a non-stop full throttle mad ride through all three installments of the highly polished adventure series, coming from a team of people who make adventure games since 1994!

Added yesterday to my wishlist and now they are on sale...
Had to grab them!
I have fond memories of the first one, the second I didn't enjoy it as much and I never had a chance to play the third.
Edit: spelling

This promo painfully reminds me of the size of my backlog, lying on a pile in the corner of the room, collecting dust and occasionally glancing at me with a sullen, reproachful stare.
Played the first one and thought it was kinda bland, this the series improve in the next titles?
I only wishlisted the first from the reviews, but has anyone tried the third?
I found Runaway 3 to be better than the second.

The second one - although not the best rated - seems to be a favorite part of the series for some people. The third one improves every aspect of gameplay and presentation greatly, and delivers the most intriguing and exciting story. But don't take my word for it - I'm a gamemonger after all. See the user reviews - they're doing a great job tracking the series' merits and flaws. In general, the Runaway Trilogy is something adventure fans do recommend.
Why GOG? Why? My point & click backlog is huge already...

Liar. If you don't have them, then it's never huge enough.
Good promo.

Exactly the same for me: I hated the second one (lame story, puzzles, main characters being a dick with everyone...).

Lol.

Lucky I am not a fan of adventure games, still broke from the insomnia :)
Ah this is a great offer. Sadly gog is still stuck with the no german versions, so my purse will be happy that I am not spending more money. I hope you'll get the language added one day, then I'll buy them at once.
Sweet promo, thanks GOG!
Excellent Gem Promo! Three great games at a great discount (when bought together.)
