Whether he's running for his life with mob breathing down his neck, crushing in a plane on a mysterious tropical island, or faking his own death to get away from a mental asylum and clear himself from murder charges, he always manages to keep a smile on his face. Paired with terror and craziness in his eyes, but a smile nonetheless.

Looking and sounding better with every iteration it ended up with impressive animation, top-notch voice acting, and a movie-worthy soundtrack it's a true gem in its genre. Grargar: Liar. If you don't have them, then it's never huge enough.
Well, it's never too late to grow my backlog. Another 33 years and then hopefully I'll be retired, and I'll have all the time in the world to play my games :)

phaolo: I only wishlisted the first from the reviews, but has anyone tried the third?
I have to state that all that follow are my personal opinion (taste).

So the fisrt game is the best part and has an ending. That means it can be played as a standalone game.
The second part doesn't have an end. You have to play the third part to complete the story.
The downside is that the second part is a mediocre game at best. To me is just a bad adventure.
The third part is good, not as good as the fisrt about its story, but has some modern mechanisms added to its gameplay, such as in-game help and show the items you can interact with.

I finished the whole trilogy and I think it deserves the price of this promo.
I cannot recommend just to skip the bad second part, since it's relevant to the third.

Nice, but I'm holding off on buying 1 & 2 until the original Spanish versions are added.
Could anyone enlighten me what is meant by "non-linear gameplay elements"?

I thnk it refers to the sequence you can solve the puzzles.

EDIT: There are puzzles you have to complete before other. I think, we can better say that some sub-puzzles have non-linear order.

Ah, ok. Does the order make any significant difference? Or is it just freedom of choice?

Simply curious, since I haven't heard P&Cs being described that way before.

Thanks, I'll probably take only the first game next time, then. +1

No difference.

Think about it like you can collect the clues or items you need in any order you like. But always there is a greater puzzle, which you have to solve to make progress.

The game is as linear or as non-linear, as almost every point and click adventure you have played.

grats.
One of these days I'll get around to playing them. One of them.
Thank gods I already have them, I already have to improvise for food. Anyone know what spices go well with boiled cardboard?

Deep fry it.
Hmm own all 3 here already. I think I completed the first game, though judging by that level of recollection I should probably play it again and then play the sequels. I don't remember the first one being horrible, so that's something, actually I'm sure I enjoyed it.

Hmm thinking about it I don't have anything useful to contribute. Time for bed.
