A single-serving fantasy conquest!

Braveland, an adorable but nonetheless epic turn-based strategy full of fantasy, charm, and clever tactics, is available 60% off, DRM-free for Windows and Mac OS X on GOG.com. That's only $1.99 for the next 24 hours!

Braveland is a turn-based game inspired by old-school strategies with hexagonal battlefield. You will start as a humble warrior's son whose village was cruelly raided and will end as talented commander of your army. The story will take place in a hand-drawn world and cover many interesting places and characters. Various warriors will join your army - archers, scouts, healers, footmen, arbalesters, and more. With 50 battles that will test your tactical skill, 26 unit types to populate the battlefield, intense boss fights, character development, and adorable graphics style, this little gem of a game can serve as a savory appetizer for some, and the main course in the strategic feast for others.

If you thought that mighty magical heroes will never return to the land of 2D, Braveland is here to prove you wrong, for only $1.99 on GOG.com. The Gem Promo 60% discount offer lasts until Thursday, July 3, at 9:59AM GMT.
YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Arbalest? Never heard that one before.
Wow, it's almost as if you've scanned my wishlist. lol Thanks for this promo. I'll get it.
Great price, but I'd like to know if this game is more a Facebook\phone title, than a real PC one..

I have it on my phone, it's a very simplistic Heroes of MaM clone. That means no cities, no enemy heroes, just wandering across checkpoints and fighting predetermined tactical battles. From time to time, you can buy new units.
Nice Promo, i might have to grab Braveland. :D
Played this on my phone too and I find it hard to recommend, even for 2 bucks. Unless you're new to tactical rpg, this is one of the blandest games in the genre, not to mention unchallenging.
Nice promo.

it's basically a casual Heroes of M&M title... if you're about to go to sleep at night but want a quick turn-based fight before you go, this game is for you :)

my mum who unfortunately doesn't have time to play Heroes or King's Bounty anymore found this game very nice, played through it twice (once you finish it for the first time you can go again with a higher difficulty)

so it's not so bad :) for 2 bucks :)

Thanks for the reviews guys.
Looks interesting. Got it =)
Nice promo; great game at a great price!
Will have to check it out.
Nope I'm not paying actual money for a clone of a iPhone game. :-)

I'm so tired of having to navigating around all these stupid clones. Gimme some real PC games. :-) :-) :-)

EDIT: Inserted some smileys to make it look less negative
