Sounds cool, I love games with stuff.

Does anyone know of trading games w/o combat in a fantasy setting? I want to sell some tobacco to hobbits.

That's a tough one. Do you mean something like The Guild with elves, dwarves and dragons? (and hobbits...)

I instantly thought of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale, but it probably isn't quite what you're asking for. I think you can totally ignore the dungeon crawling stuff and just advance using the trade mechanics, though.

Wishbone: I've never played any other game which let you adapt the game so much to your individual play style. Damn near everything in the game can be automated, with a very fine level of detail, letting you focus only on those game mechanics you enjoy. It is absolutely fantastic. I wish it was here.
Yupp, just spam Digital Reality long enough and maybe it'll happen. In the mean time let's don't forget about:
Homeworld: combat high
and Nexus: The Jupiter Incident: combat high.. Both great games.

Rodzaju: Eminent Domain is an AWESOME game!
One of my top 10 games of all time irrespective of genre.
Combat is about as frequent as MOO, but real time.
Pretty straightforward point & click, the main intricacies are based around the ships / weapons that you build.
Aye... I loved that game, too bad that recent games like SWOS are somehow not as engaging. Or is it because my nostalgia?

Yeah, like the Guild II, or even Patrician III. I couldn't find anything like that either.

@Chean: Reccettear has an interesting concept, a western RPG counterpart of it would be even cooler, I think.

I can't think of any pure trading game with fantasy setting that has no fighting. In fact, even with fighting, I can't recall even one game that has trade as main focus. There are some building games I think, but they all involve some kind of conflict.

Fantasy (As in "Swords and Sorcery") just lends itself to armed conflict, I guess.

I wrote to them about it (again) just the other day ;-)

Yeah, I have those fantasy-realm empire builders, a few I think. Oh well, thanks for checking. I just wanted to be a trader, and not a wizard :c

I can only assume that they know full well that the original PC version is superior to any touchscreen version, no matter how much they've updated the graphics, and they want to sell more copies of the Android and iOS versions. If the PC version was actually available, most people would probably buy that instead.
