Gaming shows have too much some face (who doesn't even play) talking and few seconds of gameplay videos but I guess that has always been so.

I have stopped watching television years ago. Pictures like this don't give me the impression that I've missed much. ;)

I don't like any of them. People who don't really "fit" trying to pretend they're really into gaming, and come off sounding stilted and scripted an un-funny.

I love the "Please just kill me now" look captured within the photograph. Suits the advertisement-overload stage.

I don't know. I don't watch it, I found this on different forum. I only know that it is from NA. For me it is completely unwatchable because narrator thought that it is good idea to auto-tune his voice. Because of that he sounds like a squirrel.

I assume we're talking about TV shows, because there's a lot of good (IMO) gaming content there on the web; not just Extra Credits, but Zero Punctuation, Unskippable, The Angry Joe Show, and TB's Mailbox/WTF is... videos. Some would argue for The Jimquisition, too.

Back to the OP...is that...actually a real show? It looks more like a parody than an actual real TV show about gaming (and I didn't even think there were any still around).

I don't know if it is TV show or Internet show, but it is real show. This guys is well known in NA and overall hated by other journalists. You can find video on Angry Joe channel where Joe had dispute with him.

Saw this on the Codex and laughed my ass off. No words need to be added.

Have you seen the Days of Our Lives product placements? Just a quick search on youtube and you too can watch them talk about Chex Mix, Cheerios and Midol.
