I'll only play when I'm on my own (unless I'm showing the game to someone), and I'll only play at night - or on days that are so cloudy and grey that I don't get reflections on the screen. I'm really stupidly fussy about things like that.

Carmageddon was a great game to play after... a few... adult beverages. Another was Road Rash. That one had a great sound track too. Sometimes the hilarity factor IS the good result... ;)

I thought a long time before posting in this thread and I've noticed I didn't have any gaming habit... But then I noticed that I close the door of the room I'm inside. That's weird, eh?

I tend to play A lot (too much) Poker these days and this usually means headphones, old rock such as Aerosmith or Maiden, A bottle of fizzy headshaker (coke) and A large supply of cigarettes.
My god reading through what I just typed makes me realise how old I am........sad panda :(

A little privacy isn't bad.
I'm 21, sometimes I play some Texas Holdem on the myspace, and I too enjoy soda and smokes.. I'm not a fan of headphones, but I also like Maiden.. (not a big fan of aerosmith, especially after Guitar Hero Aerosmith).

Hehe yeah, whilst I am no fan of RunDMC they are solely resposible for saving Aerosmith with that cover, then again I suppose we can also blame them for turning Aerosmith into A Ballads band lol

I drink a few fingers of Whiskey with the room lights down low while relaxing in my plush easy chair.

I usually have the TV on, but I don't know why because all the noise is distracting.
Usually I drink tea when gaming, they go hand in hand :) Sometimes I have music, it depends on the game, but generally I feel it's distracting too. On the other hand it's better than listening to the sound of my computer fan. Preferrably something quite instrumental, like Dream Theater or LTE.
Also, a good chair is needed.

I usually have a cup of coffee and the tv on as back ground noise. Some time a soda, but more likely water.

Lights out, soda, and beef jerky for me.
On the weekends, rum in the soda ;)

Only thing I can think of is that after a while I always find myself chewing on something. Pencils, old bottle caps, coins, keys. if its on my desk, loose and small enough to go into my mount I have probably chewed on it at some point

My habit is usually consuming a massive amount of soda or water. Generally makes me sick if I'm not careful.
That and I prefer not to be interrupted while playing. (I have loud headphones for that reason.)

Drinking beer and coffe. I have a bad habit of switching between games on the fly. I have the TV with a 360 right next to my computer, so I don't have to get up, just turn the chair :) MM9 and GOG is hot right now :D
