An mmorpg is #1? That's just stupid. I've never played WOW, I'm sure most of the praise is warranted but an pay for mmorpg shouldn't be #1.

This list is of the 2000s (2000-2009) as opposed to a list of the last decade (2001-2010). It is odd timing for them to come out with the list now as opposed to last year though.

Oh, I would have sworn that it was. It definitely deserves it more than, say, DoW2 or Sins.

I agree with you on MMOs, but it's hard to deny how important and massive that game is. If any one game defined PC gaming the last 10 years it was WoW, for better or worse.

The most fun in this sort of list is the comments section, with about half the people calling the writer an idiot because their pet game is not in the list.

It is a fairly good list - of course I don't agree, but all the games there can be defended.

Why shouldn't it be #1 just because you have to pay monthly for it? That's kind of silly.
