Games I missed

The Dig: missed because was in school

Dragon Dice: missed because store didn't have a price clearly marked on it.

Microprose Magic the Gathering: missed because, I don't think I have ever seen it for sale anywhere

Braindead 13: haven't seen it for sale anywhere

Steven King's The Mist: wasn't looking for it when it came out and haven't seen it since

Bureaucracy: not sure if it is bundled in any collection, basically haven't seen it to get. it

SpellJammer or Pyst: never seen it anywhere

Treasure Quest: was turned off by the whole first to solve wins $1 million, like no sense buying if you can't be sure that your getting it at the earliest possible time, and probably be won by a group of people that disassemble the code or something. So haven't seen it since around when it came out. and would want it deeply discounted because clearly it is a really old game now, but also the winning the money was their main selling point, so now that is gone why spend big money on it.

P.S.
I almost missed Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, When I saw it in the stores, the title and the back of the box made me pass on the game. With the back of the box it shows screenshots, and one is of two guys standing outside a car, another screenshot shows a woman inside the car looking out. Well I don't know if it was marketing dept. intention but I was worried about the girl in the car. And that made it seem to me too creepy a game so i didn't give it a second look. I got it later by chance, and thought it was a great game. And the scene was completely different from what I thought it was on the back cover. But lacking the context of the game, I wonder if it was a marketing decision to try and fool people into thinking the game is way darker then it is.

Another one who both own and haven't played Fallout 1 or 2. I've been meaning to try them, I was suppose to right after I finished Arcanum but other stuff came up and I got lazy.

Fever_Discordia: I have The Witcher, KOTOR, Divine Divinity and Arachnorox purchased and waiting to be played
Arcanum always nags at me to be bought but hasn't won yet
I sort of wouldn't mind trying all the Final Fantasies from the start of the whole series, missed a lot of console stuff actually - never played a Metroid or a Castlevania
I can't help feeling there must be some lost real world IP licensed game that I'm missing, thankfully I got to play Blade Runner years ago, it was on my wishlist but I REALLY want XIII now its gone Waaa!
NOLF 2, System Shock 1, Bioshock, should get round to that 'Nameless mod' for Deus Ex really...
RAWR! Golden Shovel Trophy to you!

BTW, I call Alpha Protocol.

Ninja Gaiden 2 seems like slasher gem, hope I see it on PC someday.
An October 08 necro.

Nice

LOL OMG I didn't even notice - I think it came up near the top of a search for something else, probably above the recent thread I was actually looking for, stupid broken forum search!
Still, not a BAD thread to inadvertently dabble in necromancy for!

That too
I'd like to thank GOG for hosting the forums, OP for the OP, GOG again for creating a shoddy forum search function, my parents for making me exist and God because knowing how deluded so many people are about the existence of a higher being makes me feel less bad about living in the fantasy world of computer games so much as I do!

Nice necro.

The simple answer to the question is: most of the games I own.

In a perfect world where I would have unlimited time to play games, where playing games doesn't take any time from the day, I don't age during that time, and I'm free from distractions and yet have access to the web (for the tips and walkthroughs), I'm sure I would have played a lot of my games and enjoyed them.

Though frankly that won't work well for MMO's, so I guess in such a world I'd have to stick to single player games.
ICO. I actually have the game but never got around to it.

To all the people saying there are console games they never got to play, I don't know why, you could probably trade a used PS2 for a half eaten piece of candy nowadays.

Telika: Silent Hill 1, Red Dead Redemption : they're on console.
Yeah. Also call me lame, but Gears of War and Halo sequels too. And Fable 2. Even if I got a console it would be a PS3 so the latter ones are truly off my radar, which is a shame.

Anyway, on the PC front...

Icewind Dale 2 - Never got around to it

Full Throttle - Same, finally played it last year and didn't get far due to distraction.

The Dig - Same, never got there.

Daggerfall - Waiting for DaggerXL, which might take forever.
i am still hoping one day i will play Grim Fandango [i would buy it but the prices are rather steep].
SMAC: Bought the game some years ago, but it crashed whenever I tried to load it, and at the time I wasn't experienced enough with computers to think of googling for a patch. Now I know I can get some which hopefully will sort the issue (and of course there's GOG if necessary :) ) but I haven't yet cleared my ever-increasing backlog of games.

OMG yeah - Fable 1 and 3 have PC versions but no PC Fable 2 - its so weird and annoying when they do that!

You can add Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen and STALKER to my list, just to keep the thread alive - ALIVE Mwah ha har!

It's quite possible that, all my life I've wanted to play Cyberpunk 2077 without even knowing it - only time will tell *earns major 'on message' points*

The original Blood Omen is great but it is soooooo different from any of the other Kain games. Just remember should you ever pick it up: you are SUPPOSE to get killed at the beginning! Took me two hours of trying not to die thinking to myself, "This game is impossible!" before I realized it was actually a plot point.
Always wanted to play DOOM 3 since seeing the ads for it when it first came out but at the time was on an imac and sure it wouldn't work so pushed it out of my head. Since then, my emac died last year and so bought a quick replacement at WalMart so I could continue paying bills online until I got my Mac fixed. This Windows computer only has an integrated intel 41G chip for graphics but have found it to be able to run most of anything I take a chance and throw at it ... WITCHER, included. So during the Christmas sales I took a chance and picked up DOOM3 for less than 10 bucks ... and it works wonderfully !!!
Still haven't played much of it though as I somehow have ended up with over 175 games on this new computer.... :)

Wait, hang on, if the original Bllod Omen is suposedly stuck in licensing hell then how come Mobygames says that they managed to put out a PS Vita version last year?
