Count me in for Thief as well - I've played the first two games a few times each. Not so much the third one, which I don't think I ever finished; it's a fine game, it just doesn't have the same appeal somehow.
Simulations mostly,

Grand Prix Legends
IL-2 1946
Gran Turismo 1/2/3/4 (I don't know why but I even keep playing the crappy first ones XD)
Wings Over Vietnam/Europe
Civilization 3/4
Alpha Centauri
World Of Tanks (yes I know =P)
GT Legends
GTR 2
Pinball Gold Pack

I'm doing my 3rd playthrough of Crusader No Regret right now, man I love those games. =)
Other games I've played at least 2 times or more.

No One Lives Forever 1/2
Red Faction
X-Com Enemy Unknown
Raptor CotS
Stalker SoC
SW: Dark Forces 1/2
SW: X-Wing
Freespace 1/2
Wing Commander 3/4/5
SHOGO
Unreal
Chuck Yeager's Aircombat
Stunts
Karateka
Well I see I'm now getting to my Apple //e days where most games were indefinately replayable. =P
I love replaying games, so I have quite a lot. Just from GOG:
* Dungeon Keeper
* Theme Hospital
* Rayman
* Earthworm Jim (haven´t played 2 that much, I think I only finished it once)

I´m not counting games I´ve replayed less than 5 times or that I´ve started to play on the last 3 years, as I don´t count replaying the same game several times on the same year "a game I keep coming back".

There are many other console and PC games (probably around 30+) that I replay at least once every 2-3 years, like the classic Sonic games, the Advance Wars games, Castlevanias, etc.

HereForTheBeer: We have a thread for this, too, but it's buried waaaay down in the forum. We'll give you a pass.... this time. ; )

I-War 2, though I'm now holding out for a new joystick. The old one (~15 years) is simply tired.
Total Annihilation
Warzone 2100 but it's been a couple years.

tinyE: We keep coming back to this game, you can play I war 2 with a stick? I'm impressed.
Yup. It helps that it has a throttle slider, and a scroll wheel and two more buttons on the base, along with four triggers (one standard, three thumb) and two tophats. I only use one tophat, though, for working the nav map and the other settings on the info hud. Oh, and the throttle twists for roll control, but that's not really necessary for this type of space game. Gonna be tough to find a quality replacement for all of that without breaking the bank.

Since I'm not using it I might just tear this one apart and clean and adjust the living daylights out of it to see if things can be tightened-up like when it was new. Maybe some new springs and some contact cleaner will do the trick.

And back to the thread...

BF1942+mods but, again, that's been a while. Haven't put it on this laptop yet.
That would be my nightshift games. Games that are not too complicated, but interesting and challenging enough to keep me awake when I get tired:

Doom, the Roguelike
Decker
Defender's Quest
DROD

Strange, for the first time I realize that all my nightshift games start with the letter D.

Master of Magic. I only discovered it like a year ago and it quickly rose to become one of my favorite games.

Other than that Pro Pinball Timeshock. It's my favorite table of the three titles we have here and I've only managed to crack the high score table once, I'll be numero uno one day.

OT, but were you able to run all of your pinball games that you have from GOG?? I had trouble with one (can't remember which, been while, but I mean that thing just wasn't running on my machine, period).

Wondering if there are any others.

I too fire up a good ole pinball game when I want to not think too much and it needs to be quick (I've got 10 or 15 minutes to kill).

Pretty much, yeah. Timeshock does stutter at times but it's infrequent enough to ignore it. Balls of Steel will give me a lot of trouble if it's not in compatibility mode but it's fine otherwise.

edit: should mention that I'm on Vista.

I love replaying games I already know, so the list would be pretty long. I'll restrict to those I just can't avoid to play, let's say, once every 2-3 years:

- Tyrian. Best Vertical Shooter ever, in my opinion. It was my favourite game when I was young and I could only play Episode 1 (which I know by heart); if it's for a fast game, or a longer adventure, I rarely spend less than 3 months without touching it. Oh, and I love the soundtrack.

- Old LucasArts adventures, especially Monkey Island 1 & 2, Loom, Sam & Max: Hit the Road, The Day of the Tentacle. They were the first games I ever played, and they have a special place in my gaming heart.

- Diablo II. I spent years on Battle.net (I risked a bone deformation due to this game XP) and even though I haven't so much free time anymore, wiping demons away is always funny.

- Crash Bandicoot 2/3 or Super Mario 64. Even though I do not really love 3d games, these are funny, and I like the soundtrack.

- Unreal Tournament or Quake III Arena. Feeling nervous? Go and frag!

- The Dark Heart of Uukrul. This is a not-so-known and really lovely old RPG. I'll manage to finish it, sooner or later!!!
Warcraft 3 time and time again. I finished it several times on normal difficulty level but kept coming back because I wanted to finish it on hard. I think I gave up about two times at least one of which was on the last level. There are some crazy difficult levels on hard, eg 2/3 of the undead levels and that infernal nightelf level where you have to get to the horn of cenarius. The orc levels are all kind of easy on hard and most of the frozen throne levels as well, except for that blood elf level where you start on the middle island and cannot train certain units like knights. I've also returned multiple times to that Beastmaster rpg game, included in the expansion methinks.

Warcraft 3 has to be the best rts I've ever played. Nothing for me has ever matched the atmosphere of that game.
Long list, I guess I'll limit it to few games.

# Super Street Fighter 2 X (Turbo)
# Deus Ex !!! (1 and 3, didn't play the 2nd yet)
# Minecraft
# Any Battlefield
# Resident Evil 1 and 4 (Bio Hazard)
# Team Fortress 2
# Grand Theft Auto Vice City
# Any Civilization
# Mass Effect
# Quake 3
# etc...

I know DayZ will be on that list in the future, it's the case with DayZ mod, I'm playing it, I stopped, I play it again, etc...

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodline. Its fun to fire up every now and then and prowl the streets of Santa Monica by night.
Deus Ex more than any other. I've finished it around 20 times, and probably started around 60 more. Not including all the mods that I keep going back to. I keep playing Zodiac and Burdeon of 80 Proof over and over.
I still find new stuff or a new way to accomplish my objectives every time I play.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto - My go-to game to cheer me up.
Portal 2 - I keep going back to build and play more user-made levels. And play through the main game about once a year.
New Vegas - I love the huge world full of interesting places and people. Different factions and different decisions always keep things interesting.
No One Lives Forever - The best video game of all time. What else can I say?

And a few really old Nintendo games. I still play Super Mario 3, Super Mario World, F-Zero, Contra, and Golf. Just good memories and good games.

I knew I was forgetting something when I wrote my list !
Counter-strike / CS:S
On and off for almost 15 years!
