Age of Wonders
Pharaoh

GOG versions are ultra convenient. My AoW CD refused to work years ago and Pharaoh wouldn't survive for a long time.
I keep revisiting many games.

But not at least once a year. That frequently I only revisit Sensible World of Soccer.
Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom sim
Age of Wonders
Civilization 2 & 4
Master of Magic
Victoria 2
Hearts of Iron 2 & 3
Have played quite a few every which way I could, that include Rome Total War, Witcher 1, Wizardry 7 and 8, and Civ II and IV until getting "Augustus" rating.

They were all ok in their way, and I'm sure there were others, but most games I beat to death until I purchase another, until gog came along, and allowed for a fairly large backlog.

Morrowind is darker, dirtier and a little more spooky on the whole than Oblivion.

As to Homeworld, I think the challenge is one of the things that keep me going back - that and the immersion level is pretty high

In that case I'm really pissed. I'm pissed because "dirtier and a little more spooky" sounds perfect, but the game is at the post office, and the post office is 30 miles away, and there is a blizzard outside so I'll have to wait till it clears up tomorrow and the plows come through. Shit, guess I'll have to just stay in here and pester the forum untill then.

Anyone got a deck of cards? Wanna learn Cribbage?
Crimecraft GangWars, only the PvP games, not the campaign.

Killing Floor, so addictive.

Left 4 Dead 2, ditto

Team Fortress 2, great PvP fun.

You should get a "Go" set - perfect for weather like this
For me it's some of the IE games:

IWD 1
IWD 2
BG 1
BG2
The Spellforce games.

Warlords III Battlecry

Earth 2160
Carmageddon
Worms

And to some extent :

Sands of Times
NOLF
Far Cry 1
Mad TV
X-COM: UFO Defense

These are the two games that I have on my HDD since they came out and to which I always return once in a while.

Decker
Doom, the Roguelike
Defender's Quest
Hex-A-Hop

These are my nightshift games for years (except of Defender's Quest which joined the list just a few months ago). They all have extreme replaybility and can keep you awake during boring nightshifts. And best thing: Three of them are freeware.
Commandos BEL, BTCOD, 2
More recently Left 4 Dead 2.
Games I come back to for me would be the original
Rayman (to see if I can't get a bit further)
Deus Ex
Thief 1-2
system shock 2
Day of the Tentacle

I think those are the ones I revisit most often.. And apart from System Shock 2 and DOTT, I never completed any of them.
