Games I regret buying

Dark Reign: overpriced; compatibility issues

Patrician 1 + 2: Patrician 3 = Patrician 2 + expansion; it's very sleazy that GOG sells both 2 and 3 separately

Betrayal at Krondor Pack: bought this specifically for Betrayal in Antara, but the game is broken. However, I am currently enjoying BaK immensely.

Geneforge. It's the one game purchase anywhere that I regret. Bought it here for $10, then it turned up in the next indie royale (which I also bought), and then it turned up on indiegamestand with steam and gog keys for $1.

iainmet: But the whole mouse movement for combat just doesn't work well enough
That's because you're supposed to use numpad for swinging the weapons although I also had decent results with an analogue stick on a gamepad. My only problem with GOG's release of DBtS is that I have to kill explorer.exe in order to avoid color corruption but that's the case for multiple games so I'm kinda used to it.

Fuzzyfireball: Not a single regret, even if I think the game is crap.
Same here. Empire Earth was one of the biggest disappointments I've ever had but at least I haven't missed out on this famous RTS title. I've also beaten the first Ultima Trilogy which was far from being fun but at least it was a valuable lesson in video game history. All these things are worth a lot to me.

oh man don't get me started :D

okay, listed from the titles I bought in the past to the present:

Heroes of Might & Magic I - I only bought this because I waited for Heroes II to be released, and it has this bloody bug that even support wasn't able to solve... :(

Postal 2 - I've played this during my pubescence years and I can't believe now how stupid and ugly this game is

Two Worlds - even with the latest patches it's so terribly buggy - I started the game, got into the first combat encounter and just watched enemies disappear and re-appear behind my back; instant uninstall

Moto Racer I - I even got my friend to register here and buy this game only to find that it has been altered somehow and the bikes can't go as fast as they could in the original game

Red Baron - bought it for multiplayer with my friend but he no longer plays games and I don't like this genre at all

Gothic II - I've already finished the original game years ago (different source) but I absolutely won't run it again just for the expansion...

Commandos 2+3 - I wasn't even able to finish the first game, what was I thinking?!

Slipstream 5000 - I played this once and won't try it again, ever

Unmechanical - this looked so great... but I just didn't like it at all!

World Rally Fever - I've never seen such terrible gameplay and controls, ugh...

hmm, that's not that bad actually, considering the amount of games I've already bought... these are 10 bad games in about 120 I have here... :o)
Alan Wake: Love the atmosphere, I'm sure the story is fun, too, I just find it too clunky to play on my PC and struggling with the controls is too much of a hassle.

Bah ! You just can't appreciate the game to it's true worth...
Disciples 2 really isn't as good as I remember :(
The Feeble Files.. Unintuitive as can be, i admit i did not play long but still, regret buying it.

This is truly one of the most horrible and unplayable games ever made. It should be purged from the face of the earth,

You're just saying that to piss me off. And it's working...
I have no regrets for any game I've bought here, though I don't have that many.

There are however a couple I regret not getting here after finding out I could have got them DRM free for the same price.

None, fortunately, but I don't have a lot.

And I love Two Worlds Epic Edition; no problems whatsoever. Go figure.

Are you serious ?!?! You can do a shitload of stuff that you can't do in any other game... Can you piss on people in any other game? Can you shove your gun up a cat's ass ? No, you can't... That's the beauty of Postal 2 - There's just nothing else like it.
Ah, yes - on topic. Nope, never regretted any buy here, but then I am a bit compulsive and need to find out as much as possible about a game before buying anyway, so I usually know what I get.

these are the reasons why it should be purged. It is horrible... The story is weak, the quests are weak and illogical, the game is bugged, the areas are small with long loading times, the graphics are horrible. "You can piss on people" do not make it a good game, quite the opposite.

In my opinion is that this game is an example of everything wrong in the game industry.
