There are some games that are amazing, but get totally overlooked, either because of poor advertising, or just a single bad review *Cough* God Hand and IGN *Cough* So what games do you think should get more attention. Mine is Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for the DS because it's a unique take on the monster collecting genre, with a challenging difficulty and mature storyline looking into a void that appeared in the Antarctic called the Schwarzwelt that displays certain aspects of humanity like our nature to start wars, our material greed and gluttony, and our constant destruction of the world.

Modern or old game?

I'll give some examples of modern games then: Remember Me, Fallout NV (yes indeed, mediocre FO3 got more hype than this gem), Velvet Assassin, Sleeping dogs was already very much overlooked in comparison with GTA 4 and 5, Testament of Sherlock Holmes.

Also I never go to IGN for reviews, as much as there are trolls on the net Steam/gog and metacritic user scores have helped me decide to play underrated games and avoid bug budget AAA games.

Also kingdoms of Amalur is one the best RPG's I've played. Too bad the devs went bankrupt and Skyrim fanboys bashed this game :s

well jetpack isn't out yet, i'm pretty sure it'll get the love it deserves (if it's still fun like the original was when we were kids)!

Oh yeah, the God Hand IGN review debacle. Good times.
I think that Still Life 2 gets this treatment, I'm loving the game and the "Saw" vibe in it and the gameplay is just fun with some cleaver puzzles and good story overall.

Thanks for saying that. I got the game when it was free a few days ago but I had never heard of it, so I wasn't sure if it was a "meh" or a good game. I'll try to play it soon and see how it's to me :)

Judging by die infrequent activity on the games' forums, I have a nasty feeling that

kknd
are being somewhat overlooked :P Granted, the first two aren't that far down on the best selling list.
Disciples 2 too perhaps, which would be a shame, since it's the best fantasy tbs in my admittedly meager but honest opinion.
