Why would they ask us about them if the thought never crossed their minds?

Furthermore, many other sites already do offer this to a limited degree - they have Sega signed up.

Red Dead Redemption (I actually waited for them to announce this game for PC, but instead they ported L.A. Noire.)
Bayonetta (Sega had stop making PC versions of their games just in time for this game's release)
Condemned 2 ( First game is on PC)
Metal Gear Rising Revengence (A PC version was planned, but now there is no word and the game looks better than ever.)

Condemned 2 is supposed to be a typical console FPS, so I'd imagine that everything that made the first game so damn good (apart from perhaps the AI) has gone, or at least been heavily diluted.

I'm just saying you'd probably be very disappointed with it and I think that Sega know this.

Totally agreed on Red Dead Redemption though. Not porting such a successful game to every possible format just doesn't make sense.

Doesn't Gamefly have console games too? I could be wrong, but yes it would be awesome to have console exclusive game come to the PC and not only that but be DRM free.

Ultimatum: Gog can't release emulated games,because it would be too much work modifying it,also it would be really hard to get permission to do so.

F4LL0UT: Technically GOG is already distributing emulated games with DosBox being an emulator (especially in case of Mac releases which AFAIK are PC games bundled with a Mac version of DosBox, right?). I guess the only problem with console games is that the respective emulators require images of the original system's ROM, which is pretty much always heavily protected by an army of lawyers, balrogs and what not.
Nope most emulators of old consoles don't require bios images. So it would be possible to distribute these games if they had a deal with one of the Emulator developers.

Also: Earthbound and Mother 3, dammit. Even more of a pipe dream than most other stuff on this list but I will never give up!

Well yeah, SEGA did it themselves, I wouldn't doubt them popping up here.

I just don't see GOG themselves buying and porting games to PC, to many other things they can focus on instead.
